Could you please provide an update on support for monthly subscriptions with a 12-month commitment in the Apple App Store?

The iOS SDK 5.76.0 appears to include some initial support. However, it does not yet seem possible to create or configure subscriptions with a monthly billing plan in the admin interface.

Do you have an estimated timeline for when full support will be available?

Hello @thomas-hess,

We enabled support for annual commitments in the Dashboard earlier today. You should now see a checkbox when creating an Apple product.

Please keep in mind that products with annual commitments are only supported if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Your app is built with Xcode 26.5 or later.
  • Your app is using RevenueCat SDK version 5.76.0 or later.
  • Your users are running iOS, macOS, watchOS, or visionOS 26.4 or later.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the quick response. Is it also possible to enable the monthly billing plan for an annual subscription that is already setup and used in transactions?

Hello again,

For now, you can achieve this by creating a new product, configuring it with the same Apple product ID, and enabling the Annual Commitments checkbox.

For RevenueCat, products with annual commitments are treated as different products from their upfront-payment counterparts.

Let me know if you have any questions.
