I have used one of the pre-made paywalls and changed some stuff but basically I have setup up monthly and yearly subscription with 7 days free

A couple of things I cant get my head around.

1. Previously the button was showing 7 days free but now it says “continue” only
2. The text colour of the button shows white on a dark background in draft mode, but once deployed it shows black on a dar background which is not very visible at all.

Can I please get some help with this?
Is it possible to see the code of the paywall?

Hey there,

Matt from RevenueCat here! I’d love to help with this.

I’ve taken a look at your paywalls, and it looks like the issue may have been resolved. I just wanted to reach out to confirm that, and also provide some context around what was happening.

I can see you had rules applied where users with a free trial were presented with a button that had a darker text colour.

With rules, you can have different versions of your paywall for different users. In this case, the paywall was slightly different for users with a free trial. This can be useful for displaying different text or styling depending on the user.

To view these, in the paywall editor, select the “Paywall Logic” option on the left-hand toolbar. From there, select the rule. Choosing “Preview All” at the bottom will allow you to easily see all configurations for this rule and edit them as needed.

In your latest published version of the paywall, this appears to have been resolved.

Please can I confirm that the text and font color now appear as expected on your end? If not, please let me know and I’ll continue the investigation. We’ll get this resolved!

Thanks!

Thanks it has been resolved.

Just want to give feedback that the paywall logic options etc were not very clear.

Unless it is already out there, I would love to have a video that takes you step by step using the template paywalls that would be amazing

Thanks again.

Hey there,

Thank you for confirming your issue is resolved. That’s great news!

Thank you for this feedback. The team is constantly looking to improve features such as rules, and I will pass on your feedback for review in those discussions.

As requested, I have gathered some resources that may help.

We have a demo video of paywalls, which gets up and running with the templates, which can be viewed here:

We also have some documentation around the new rules system which can be found here:

I will also share your comments with the team behind the tutorials and guides.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything more I can do to help!

Thanks!
