Handling of refunds "greyed out"

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Hello there,

I can't seem to change the "Handle of refund requests" in any of my iOS apps anymore - not event the ones I did change in the past - they are all "greyed out"

Does anybody notice this as well? I would appreciate any pointers

Cheers

Hi @Marcio,

Apple App Store Server Notifications is now required to use the handling refund requests. If you have it grayed out or disabled, it means we don’t send any data to Apple and it will fallback to “Do not handle”.

Let me know if that helps!

Hi @Marcio,

You’ll need to configure Server to Server notifications for each project you want this setting enabled. If you have it configured, do you send us the notifications through your own server? As in redirecting it from your own server?

Best,

Hello, thanks for the reply.

I was able to set / change this option before the UI changes to RevenueCat's Dashboard without setting Server to Server notifications.

Is this required now? Even if I want RevenueCat to handle the "refund response" to Apple?

Thanks - that was not clear for me when I read the docs.

Hi @Marcio,

Yeah I agree, I had to double check internally to make sure I was correct.

I’ll update the docs to reflect it, thank you for your feedback!

Best,
