I am trying to build my app with Xcode 26 beta 1. RevenueCat is generating errors: For many functions, I’m getting this error. “Concurrency is only available in iOS 13.0.0 or newer” Here is an example of the code in Obsoletions. func paymentDiscount(for discount: SKProductDiscount, product: SKProduct) async throws -> SKPaymentDiscount { fatalError() } I am using RevenueCat 4.43.3 Is there a way I can avoid these errors - I am not ready to move to RC 5.x yet. My code supports iOS 16 or later.
The issue: When testing a Mac Catalyst app built and run from Xcode, I now receive the following Xcode-console-logged errors, in the order listed here, upon attempting a non-consumable in-app purchase using a sandbox user account: No UI context available for payment sheet request. Received error that does not have a corresponding StoreKit Error: Error Domain=SKInternalErrorDomain Code=4 "An unknown error occurred. Please try again." Purchase did not return a transaction: Error Domain=SKInternalErrorDomain Code=4 "An unknown error occurred. Please try again." There was a problem with the App Store. This could also indicate the purchase dialog was cancelled. Potentially relevant additional info: The errors have occurred consistently over a 24-hour period, suggesting that it is not just a temporary problem with Apple’s sandbox server. The errors only occur during sandbox testing of the Mac Catalyst version of the app; they do not occur during sandbox testing of the iOS and iPadOS versions
My iOS app store submission cannot pass review due to reviewers being unable to pass paywall. Specifically, they said: “App remained on the same page after we tapped Continue”. With the screenshots apple reviewers provided, I can see that they see a “You’re currently subscribed to this.” and then they are unable to pass the paywall Do you know why this is happening? From what I can tell from RevenueCat documentation, I should be able to reproduce this in test environment. However, on both dev builds and TestFlight, subscriptions work fine and I am able to bypass the paywall, so I can’t reproduce it. ❓ RevenueCat Anonymous User Confusion — Purchases Made Without Login Hi everyone, I'm currently integrating RevenueCat in a Flutter app and I've run into an issue where a user made a successful purchase anonymously, even though I've explicitly configured the SDK to use Purchases.logIn(userId) after login. 📦 My Setup I initialize RevenueCat in main.dart only after the user has logged in. Here's the relevant initialization code: 🔍 My Questions Can I safely call Purchases.logOut() if the user is anonymous? Will it throw or is it a no-op? Does Purchases.logIn(userId) guarantee that the userId will be used for future purchases? Or is there any chance of fallback to an anonymous ID? Why is originalAppUserId still showing an anonymous ID even after calling logIn(userId)? Shouldn't it update to match appUserId after login? Does Purchases.isAnonymous reliably tell me whether the current user is anonymous? 📎 Notes The userId is definitely non-null and only passed after the user has logged in.

I have a few follow-up questions: Is all the code and information in the post still up to date after a few years? Regarding the syncIfNeeded function: it checks the info returned from RevenueCat, and if that fails and a receipt exists, it attempts to sync. But what happens if the receipt doesn't exist, or syncing isn’t sufficient? Is that a possible scenario? How should we handle users in that situation? In such cases, should we fall back to calling restorePurchases, which might trigger the system sign-in prompt? The article doesn’t mention this. Also, I noticed that appStoreReceiptURL is now deprecated, and Apple recommends using the AppTransaction API. I've tried this in my app, but in some cases, I can't access the original app version or purchase date unless I explicitly call AppTransaction.refresh(), which often causes a sign-in prompt. This seems similar to RevenueCat’s restorePurchase
I have a moderately complex paywall with tabbed panel showing subs vs lifetime. Just to save my lazy ass some time, was looking to see if you have some kind of conversion option but I cannot see one. Is this likely to happen by September 2025? I’m concentrating on adding features and rolling out a Mac (SwiftUI) version, for which I have to code my own paywall anyway, so it’s not a priority. I’m pretty happy with the existing paywall.
Hi there, I have an iOS app with auto-renewable subscription. Previously, we used to store the purchases in our server database and open features inside the app based on it. Now, we are trying to move to RevenueCat and opening the features using the below code instead of relying on our server side subscription status. CustomerInfo.entitlements["Pro Access"].isActive After user update the new version with RevenueCat, will you get the active subscription automatically from Apple Receipt and enable entitlements or should we call syncPurchases programmaticaly so that you will enable entitlements based on it? Hi! Is there an endpoint available that allows me to only get my active subscribers? I was only able to find this endpoint, which just returns all customers: https://api.revenuecat.com/v2/projects/{projectId}/customers I saw this old thread where this wasn't possible, but it would be great if it's been added since then. Hi there, I have a mobile app that allows Apple and Google Sign in using Firebase. A user on their iOS device has signed in with their Apple account but now they wish to use their Google account instead. Below are the list of events. User logs in with Apple account Purchases subscription for 1 year Subscription expires Logs out of app Logs in with Google account Purchase subscription for 1 year again With these events, the subscription still ended up getting tied to the previous Apple account instead according to RevenueCat dashboard. Note that I do call the proper “logout” and “configure” functions when the user logs in and out of my app. I had asked the user to try and click the “Restore previous purchases” button I have, but a dialog comes up and states they are already subscribed and then it’s just an error message. I’m using RevenueCat latest paywall. Right now the “Cancel” button scroll through the content. If the content is long enough, the cancel button is hidden when the user scroll down. Some user would miss the cancel button and thought that the paywall is not dismiss able. I had complaint either the paywall is broken because they can’t dismiss it or it’s a hard paywall when it isn’t. I know I can add a cancel button inside the footer component but I don’t want to put it so close to the subscribe button. Is there a way to make cancel button sticky to the top like other paywall?
In linked post, the answer to this question remained unclarified, I would basically like to ask for a follow up on that question: The `store_transaction_id` in CustomerInfo of v1 REST API , is it the unchanging ORIGINAL transaction ID for all platforms? Or does it change after renewals?
Hi, I was uploading a new version of my app to App Store, but got rejected because the prices in the subscriptions did not match. Upon further investigation, I noticed that the promotional offer that was active, wasn’t being showed properly, it only showed the original price for the subscription. I went to check in RevenueCat, and saw this Could not check label. I do not understand why now it is not working, this promotional offer was added last year and was working with no issue until now. What could have happened? I think I had already added the key, how can I verify that?

Hi, stepped away from this particular app I’m working on and just got back to it again. I’m still having difficulties getting the new paywall to show in the app. I had posted a question sometime ago but didn't get to try the proffered suggestions earlier as I stepped away from the app. when I try to duplicate or create a new offering, and attach the newly created paywall to it, it still displays with errors. how do I detach the current V1 paywall from the offerings? @guilherme
I’m trying to follow the docs for the capacitor purchases plugin. I’m migrating my codebase from the awesome-cordova-plugins approach I used with capacitor 2. Incidentally, docs are not entirely clear as sometimes there’s no capacitor example (only cordova). Anyway, my issue is If I use one of these ... const customerInfo = await Purchases.getCustomerInfo(); Purchases.getCustomerInfo().then((customerInfo) => { Then use this ... it tells me there’s no entitlements property … customerInfo.entitlements.active But if I double up the ‘customerInfo’ then it doesn’t complain … customerInfo.customerInfo.entitlements.active Note that these issues are showing up in VSCode editor … I haven’t converted all the code yet, so nowhere near actually building/running this. What’s going on? Hey team - getting this crash on Xcode 26b1 (17A5241e) running on any iOS 26 simulators. I’m on the new v5.28.0 SDK. The new Customer Center doesn’t seem to be showing the userID. In the previous version, the userID was visible in the Purchase History. However with the new version it’s nowhere to be found. I can confirm this on both debug and production builds (not sure if these are supposed to be different?). I’m looking at iOS platform and on latest SDK 5.28.1 version. I assumed this was removed on purpose in the new Customer Center so I was just about to add it to my app manually. But after seeing it existed in the demo from the June 2025 launch party, I am not sure if there’s something I have to do on my side to show the userID in the Customer Center? My user’s all have anonymous ids. This is how it looks like:
I’m currently integrating OneSignal with RevenueCat, and I’ve run into a situation that I believe others may have faced as well. I have two separate apps: one for iOS and one for Android. Each app has its own distinct OneSignal App ID, as required by OneSignal for platform-specific notifications. However, in the RevenueCat dashboard under Integrations > OneSignal, I only see the option to enter a single OneSignal App ID. Since my iOS and Android apps have separate OneSignal projects (and therefore different App IDs), I'm unsure how to properly configure the integration to support both platforms at the same time. My main goal is to ensure that RevenueCat sends subscription events to the correct OneSignal app depending on the platform, so I can properly target users for notifications on each OS. For exampleDevelopment Build: com.yourname.stickersmash.dev Production Build: com.yourname.stickersmash I had configured everything and it worked great for com.yourname.stickersmash . So the question is to support both dev/production build with same codebase, how should I configure revenuecat? What’s the good practice? Important Notes When Testing Google Play Sandbox – Account Conflict Issue I’d like to share my experience in case others run into a similar issue during Google Play sandbox testing. This unexpected behavior took quite a bit of time to figure out. Problem Summary If multiple Google accounts are signed in on the test device, the system may reuse a previous purchase receipt from one of those accounts. It seems that Android treats the first (oldest) signed-in account as the default, and continues referencing its purchase history even in sandbox mode. In my case, I had a real subscription purchase on main@gmail.com (used in production), and although I was testing with test.sandbox@gmail.com, all attempts were rejected with the message: “You are already subscribed”. How I Solved It Remove all unnecessary Google accounts → Only keep the test account (test.sandbox@gmail.com) on the device. Hello! As of the last 2-3 days, currently subscribed users received my paywall to subscribe. I had the same experience and was able to get past it by exiting out of my app and reopening it. A friend of mine said she clicked the subscribe button but didn’t seem to get charged again but I’m worried this will cause concerns with other users. Anyone experiencing this? It’s the first time I’ve seen this in the 7 months my app is live. I use the integration with flutterflow if that makes a difference. This also seemed to coincide with the recent Firebase outage. I need to display the subscriptionPeriod and the price of the currently active subscription directly within the app. My app uses anonymous user IDs (no login or authentication), and I don’t have a backend server involved. What is the best way to retrieve and display this information using the RevenueCat React Native SDK?
I was getting this error when trying to fetch products: SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE: Error fetching products. An internal error occurred. Nothing happened when trying to initiate a purchase. After checking everything in the code and console, the fix was simple: 🔑 The device was logged out of Google Play. Once I logged back into a Google account in the Play Store app, everything worked. Just sharing in case it helps someone else save time
