Need Apple ID Password every time I try and subscribe

Hey!

 

I am being asked to put in my apple ID password every time I try and subscribe. For nearly every other app I use this is done automatically. 

 

Can someone please point my in the right direction.

Hey @Nick!

Is this happening in sandbox or production? Generally, it’s expected to need to sign in often in sandbox testing rather than in production. Additionally, older versions of the SDK may prompt for a sign-in more often when checking for trial or introductory eligibility, so I’d make sure you’re up to date on your SDK.

Once you’re in production, the system uses the logged in iCloud user to make purchases and you shouldn’t need to sign in often.

You may want to look at the device Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions [toggle on]

...then iTunes & App Store Purchases in Require Password section set “Don’t Require”
