Like the title suggests, I’m testing a new subscription, and sandbox user showing purchases from prior RevenueCat in 2018 with product that's not added to RC products.
Is this normal? How do I decouple that? Anyone has run into the same thing or has a clue?
The purchase history is actually in the receipt, which is attached to the sandbox account. This is the reason why historical subscriptions will populate in the RevenueCat customer page if you're using the same sandbox account to test. You'd have to create a new sandbox account to act as a fresh install. Additionally, If a user purchase a product or has a old purchase in their receipt that has not been set up in RevenueCat, the purchase will still go through and be tracked in RevenueCat.
