Hi RevenueCat Team,

I’m seeing a currency mismatch in my TestFlight build on iOS 18.4 and 18.5:

  • Tester’s Apple ID region is set to India.

  • In-app UI shows prices in USD.

  • Purchase sheet shows prices correctly in INR.

  • I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling but no change.

  • This started happening after updating to iOS 18.4 and 18.5, and IOS 18.3 is worked fine

Is this a known sandbox/TestFlight issue or something with my RevenueCat setup? Any advice?

Thanks

Hi @amit-suneja-732b16,

The issue you're experiencing with the currency mismatch in your TestFlight build, where the in-app UI shows prices in USD while the purchase sheet correctly displays INR, is related to the known limitations of sandbox and TestFlight environments. These environments often do not reflect accurate pricing and metadata due to their instability and Apple's API inaccuracies.

For testing purposes, it's recommended to ensure the purchase flow works correctly rather than focusing on the accuracy of prices and metadata. Unfortunately, these discrepancies are common and aren't necessarily related to any misconfiguration in your RevenueCat setup.
