Assistance with Subscription Setup and Testing

Hi RevenueCat,

I'm new to using RevenueCat and have a few questions regarding my subscription setup and testing process.

I have two monthly subscriptions set up in my Google Play Console:

  1. Standard – Monthly with a 7-day free trial
  2. Professional – Monthly (no trial)


I've imported these products into RevenueCat and attached them to entitlements.

 


I created an offering with both products and added them as packages.

For the Professional package, I selected "Monthly," but for the Standard package (which includes the free trial), I couldn't select "Monthly," so I used the "Custom" option instead.

 


For the paywall, I used Template 7 - Siamese Content. 

 

My questions:

  • Am I setting this up correctly, or should I be using a different approach to configure the free trial?

  • How can I properly test the subscription, especially the 7-day free trial, and ensure the introductory offer is displayed correctly on my paywall?

 

Any recommendations or best practices to ensure a smooth setup would be greatly appreciated.

Following up on my previous inquiry regarding the setup of my subscriptions.

I conducted internal testing, and I noticed that the 7-day free trial and the introductory offer are not displayed on the paywall. Below are the test results for reference:
 


Could you please help me understand why the trial and introductory offer are not showing and what adjustments might be needed to ensure they appear correctly?

Hi, 
I have faced the same question back when I implement the free trial offer. Normally when you set up your introductory offer, there will be an option to check if this offer should only be available to people who haven’t been subscribed or not. 

In your case, you probably have subscribed to that subscription product you have set up on the Playstore already.

So 2 option to test the free-trial.
1. Use another in the Playstore to test the subscription.
2. Change the introductory offer to be available to the user who have subscribed this package before in the offer setting.

The free-trial actually separated stuff from RevenueCat SDK.
