subscription events not showing up in facebook ads manager

RevenueCat subscription events are not showing up on Facebook ads manager. Can someone please help? Also how can I get them to show up regardless of whether someone accepted ATT?

With the “App Events API”, which our Facebook Ads integration previously used exclusively, it’s not possible to send information to Facebook for a user who has declined ATT consent. This could be why you’re not seeing all events - if you’re not seeing any events, you’ll also want to be certain that you are collecting device identifiers: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/integrations/attribution/facebook-ads#2-send-device-data-to-revenuecat

 

Just this week, we added an option to set up Facebook Ads with the “Conversions API” instead - this includes the option to send events even when ATT consent has not been authorized. Here’s more information on that option from Facebook’s docs: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/conversions-api/parameters/app-data

I integrated the conversions api but I’m not getting the test events sent to Facebook. I go the events manager - test events but I don’t see the events. What should I do?

Hey ​@naissa-b324d6,

Can you make sure you’re collecting device identifiers for users? If events are not being generated at all, these ids being missing is the most likely reason.
