Got an email from Google Play asking me to disclose more information regarding RevenueCat:

Your app is uploading users' Primary Account information to https://api.revenuecat.com without disclosing it in the privacy policy in Play Console.

My app currently offers In-app purchases. I’m looking for Privacy Policies examples. Thanks!

Hey there!

Upon some research, you must make sure that you are doing the following before uploading you app to the Play Store:

  • Include a link to your privacy policy or include your privacy policy within your app; and
  • Add a link to your privacy policy in the "Privacy Policy" section on the App content page (Policy > App content) in Play Console.

Please make sure to include us in your privacy policy before uploading it.

There is some more information on Google’s site which could be found here:  https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9859455?hl=en

@Michael Fogel , you provided a good answer. It would be helpful for most people searching privacy policy if you could provide a link to RevenueCat’s privacy policy and terms of use that we can link to in our individual versions. The general one I found seems more about those of us using the RevenueCat website, not the specifics we should share with our customers because we use RevenueCat. Any chance you can update the answer? If not, I will start a new post to discuss. Thanks!
