From what I saw on the document [https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/event-types-and-fields], can I confirm RENEWAL is the event that will be called monthly for a monthly subscription plan?

The event will be sent whenever a renewal is detected - for a monthly subscription, that would likely be once a month. However, potential billing issues may cause variation in when the renewals occur and subsequently when the webhook events are sent.
But generally, yes, a renewal would happen monthly for a monthly subscription and we’ll send out RENEWAL events when it happens.
