Wrong Paywall

RevenueCat is showing wrong paywalls in my app at seemingly random. Fresh install, etc does not help. When testing with the RevenueCat app itself this happens as well.

I have only 1 paywall. Only light mode. I do not have any running experiments. iOS only app.

Hi there,

I'm Hafiz from Developer Support, thank you for reaching out!

From what I can see, this pattern normally comes from one of two things:

  1. The SDK shows a default paywall when the Offering it presents has no paywall attached, or a paywall that your installed SDK version does not support. It lists all packages and uses your app's accent color, so it can look like a paywall you never designed (documentation for default paywall here).
  2. A Targeting rule or placement changes which Offering is current, so a different paywall appears. That assignment happens on our servers, so a fresh install does not change it (documentation for Targeting here).

I am also happy to check your configuration directly, but for that I need your project ID and paywall ID. As these are private details, please feel free to open a ticket at https://app.revenuecat.com/settings/support instead of posting them here, and add a link to this thread.

I hope this helps, but do let me know if anything is unclear!

Best regards,

@hafizrahman There is only one paywall. By “wrong” paywall, I meant that it is showing an older version of the one paywall, randomly. This is not just happening in my app; it happens when testing the paywall through RevenueCat iOS app itself. The SDK is the latest, but it is out of the question because RevenueCat app also shows older versions randomly in all formats (navigation push, modal, full screen) - the behavior is the same and replicable. Paywall saved and updated as well.
