Using offers on new Google Play one-time products

Google Play has recently dropped their price templates in favor of defining offers on their one-time products.  The offers define a discount, etc, very much like offers on subscriptions.

I know how to obtain and use offers on subscriptions via the product.subscriptionOptions.  I do not see any method for obtaining these product offers.  Are they currently supported?

If they are not supported, keep in mind that these are now the only semi-manageable method for offering different prices in Google Play.  Now that they have removed price templates, the busywork of defining products for each price point is simply unmanageable.

Hi @snapwood,

This is currently supported - do you see it working on your end? You should make sure that you are on the latest SDK version since the support for this was released end of October.

Best,

No, I do not see it working in v8.25.0.  I may be completely missing it, but I do not see the API to get these.  I see product.subscriptionOptions, which I use successfully for subscriptions, but that only returns null for IAPs.  Can you point me to the API or docs?

I’m not on v9.x yet for the standard reasons.

Hi @Rolet,

Do you mean for RevenueCat paywalls or for your own one?

We are going to support offers in paywalls for Google Play subscriptions in Q1. Unfortunately I don’t have an ETA for one-time product offers yet but they are in our roadmap.

Best,
