I was wondering if there was an option (or if there isn’t, whether an option could be added) to use the in-app browser for app-to-web purchases instead of redirecting users to an external browser?

Unfortunately that’s against the store rules - the apps are forced to do the web purchase out of the app; in-app browsers are not allowed.
