Hey @martina-3ca15a - thanks for following up on this, and sorry for the wait on a clearer answer.
PayPal as a payment method in Web Billing checkout isn't on the schedule right now, and we don't have a timeline to share. The undergoing implementation got deprioritized over the past months as other Web Billing work took precedence.
This is still something we want to support in the future, it just hasn't won out against those other bets yet - I know that's not the update you were hoping for, especially after the earlier post. We're keeping the demand for it tracked internally though, so rest assured it’s not forgotten (and feedback like this helps in nudging it along).
