RevenueCat SDK is configured correctly | First Submission | 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness

Hi RevenueCat team,

All of my agreements and tax information are already set up and working. I also have other apps where In-App Purchases are working fine. However, with this new app I’m stuck because of Apple’s requirement:

“Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version. Create your subscription, then select it from the app’s In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section on the version page before submitting the version to App Review.”

Because of this, I cannot send my IAP for review, and Apple is rejecting the submission under 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness with the note:

We found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience. Specifically, after selecting both weekly and yearly subscriptions an error message is displayed.

Review device details:
• Device type: iPhone 13 mini
• OS version: iOS 26.0

At the same time, I get this warning from RevenueCat:

[RevenueCat] ⚠️ RevenueCat SDK is configured correctly, but contains some issues:
• Your products are configured in RevenueCat but aren't approved in App Store Connect yet.
• The offerings 'pro_access' have configuration issues.

Product Issues:
⚠️ offermyapp_weekly: status (READY_TO_SUBMIT) requires action in App Store Connect.
⚠️ offermyapp_yearly: status (READY_TO_SUBMIT) requires action in App Store Connect.

So the SDK is working, but the products are stuck in READY_TO_SUBMIT. Since this is my first submission for this app, I cannot move forward until it’s reviewed, and that seems to be blocking both App Store Connect and RevenueCat.

Can you clarify the correct next step here? Should I resubmit my binary with the subscription attached, or is there something else I need to configure on the RevenueCat side to align with Apple’s review process?

Thanks in advance!

Hey @z3r01n

Thank you for reaching out!

Should I resubmit my binary with the subscription attached, or is there something else I need to configure on the RevenueCat side to align with Apple’s review process?

That is correct! You should submit your subscriptions together with your app build for review. If you don’t add the products, the reviewer won’t be able to review your purchase flow and will, therefore, reject your submission.

You can add the subscriptions to the build by clicking the “Select In-App Purchases or Subscriptions” button, selecting the products you want to include, adding your build, and submitting it for review. Please check the screenshot below for reference.

I hope this helps. Hope your app gets approved soon!
