Everything works just fine when testing locally and using testflight, but Apple keeps rejecting our App because their purchases fail with “INVALID_RECEIPT” according to our application monitoring.

Any clue what could cause this issue?

After asking Apple multiple times for feedback on how to solve the issue, out app was approved without any change on our side. As I suppose that RevenueCat did not do anything to fix it either, I think that Apple just had issues themselves.

This one can therefore be safely ignored.

Thanks @Christian Kapplmüller!

We’ve been hearing reports of this from a handful of other developers as well, thanks for sharing how you resolved it. I’m curious was this an initial release or an update? One hypothesis is that this issue is more common on the first update from iOS14 > iOS15 if the reviewer isn’t using a new sandbox account.
