Xcode Simulator IOS12 Strange Behaviour

I ran my app on the Xcode iPhone SE iOS 12 Simulator and was surprised that Purchases.shared.offerings { (offerings, error) returned a value. But also that the offering was corrupted. My available packages in offerings.current are 2 subscription and 1 Non-Consumable but 3 subscriptions were returned. The Non-Consumable was incorrectly defined as a subscription.On iOS 14 simulators Purchases.shared.offerings { (offerings, error) returns nothing as expected.Can anyone explain what I am seeing here please.The app is working in production.regardsPeter

Integration with Facebook Ads Manager - testing

Dear all,We are facing a problem with testing whether our events for subscriptions and purchases are being sent from RevenueCat to Facebook. We have been following this documentation: https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/facebook-ads#2-send-device-data-to-revenuecat. We got expected results in the RevenueCat console, but we can’t determine where and how to check those events in the Facebook dashboard.Is there any updated guide for this?Kind regards,Aleksandar

RCPurchases's purchasePackage should return userCanceled = yes?

Hi, This question relates to interaction with StoreKit UIAlertViews. When a user start a purchase and the system shows “Sign-in” alert, if user taps ‘Cancel’ button, purchasePackage sets ‘userCanceled’ to true. However if user taps ’Cancel’ when “Subscription Terms” alert (next alert after ‘Sign-in’ alert) is displayed, then RevenueCat doesn’t set ‘userCanceled’ to true, it returns a valid error object with message “There was a problem with the App Store.” Shouldn’t userCanceled be true as well here?

Can't figure out the RC setup, need help please

This is my first question here, please be patient with me. I am not a programming expert and need some help. I have followed steps up to creating 3 subscriptions on both App and Play store. I want to give 3 types of subscriptions, all annual type. The feature the subscriptions will unlock are as follows:‘10_Annual’ - This will allow the admin to add 10 people to his team. ‘20_Annual’ - This will allow the admin to add 20 people to his team. ‘50_Annual’ - This will allow the admin to add 50 people to his team.Up to now I have created the entitlements, which have the same IDs as defined in app & play stores. I am now having short circuits in my head proceeding with entitlements and offerings. I am not able to fully understand what steps I should be taking when creating entitlements and offerings and need some advice on structure of it please. Thank you!

Purchases.getSharedInstance().getOfferings(new ReceiveOfferingsListener() returns NULL

Hello,I am using Java in Android Studio. When i debug my app, I can see that my id (from firebase authentication) has logged in in the past. I have set up offerings (actually just 1) in RevenueCat, but when i try to fetch the offerings with getOfferings, it returns NULL. I read in a different post that:The app needs to be be in the internal testing track on the Google Play Store in order to fetch subscriptions Is this true? Is that the reason why my app cannot “see” my offerings

Why subscription on the same device is being shared between app user ids?

Hi, I have noticed that when a user purchases a subscription on a device, any other users who sign in on the same device will automatically have that subscription, seems like other users accounts are being linked via alias. Is this expected behavior?

iOS SDK - Purchases.shared.offerings completion block never called

Hi mates!I working all day, and all fine with this fetching method. But right now I have a problem when call Purchases.shared.offerings - completion block NEVER called. In console log, I see that request message only, and nothing happens after that:[Purchases] - DEBUG: Requesting products from the store with identifiers: {( "standard.6months", "standard.1month", "advanced.1month", "standard.1year", "advanced.1year", "advanced.6months")}I tried remove app bundle, restart macOS, restart iOS, but without any success. This problem happen only when I running app on device. When I set Xcode StoreKit.configuration for target - this method works as expected. Please help me solve the problem.Running on iPhone Xr on iOS 15

PurchaserInfo doesn't return all entitlements

Hello,I added a new entitlement with 3 products. When reading PurchaserInfo object in code, I can only see the old 2 ones. The last added is not in the list. I waited for like 12 hours, thinking RevenueCat needs more time to propagate the change. However this didn’t affect the end result. I’ve checked docs to make sure there is nothing more I need to do to make things work.Thanks.

Promotional Code

Hi, We followed the documentation and created a Promotional Offer with an offer code in App store connect. This offer just extends the trial of our subscription. https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/ios-subscription-offers Do the Promotional Code also show up under Discounts in Products? Its not clear how we can allow users to redeem this code? We tried the Purchases.shared.presentCodeRedemptionSheet() But that seems more related to OFFER CODES as opposed to Promotional Codes? Any pointers appreciated!

Unique Id for a transaction from Google and App Store is not returned in response .

Hey guys,We are trying to get the original_transaction_id and transaciton_id after the purchase. However, we are not receiving those information. We want those information to save in our logs once the purchase is done. Also, we want to use those information for our report. Here is what we receive after the purchase. Where there is no transaction_id or original_transaction_id. Supporting "App Store Promotions" (in-app purchases that show up in App Store search results)

Hello!I’m trying to add support for “App Store Promotions” so that one of my in-app purchases can be shown in App Store search results. Apple asks us to make sure our app “supports the SKPaymentTransactionObserver method to process this transaction.”I would like to confirm that by setting up RevenueCat on initialization of the app, that I support this.Can someone please confirm either that I am good to go to turn on this promotional IAP, or guide me in the additional code I need to add to my app to support this? React Native - Purchase.restoreTransactions failed in iOS version 15

I’m using the RevenueCat SDK version 4.3.1 for React Native. It’s working well with iOS version 14 and below in Sandbox mode, but if I install the app from TestFlight into a device that runs iOS version 15 then the restoreTransactions will be failed (Note that the restoreTransactions still works well if I install the app from XCode or the ipa file). ReactNative - Payment sheet not showing trial period

Hi all, We have been rejected in AppStore this week due to not showing 14 day free trial in the payment sheet. Nothing has been done with our In-App purchases for quite few months so it is a bit of an odd one.Our In-App purchases (both monthly and annual) have introductory offers setup correctly with 2 weeks free. So not sure exactly what we can do to show that on the payment sheet. Has anyone else had this issue before? I have also raised this with Apple support and replied to the app store reviewer - however, they weren't helpful (pointing me to validating the receipt server side...) Thanks,Luke

How to handle expired subscription with billing error that can be renewed?

Hello there! I’ve stumbled upon a quite odd behavior while managing permissions of a subscriber. I give promotional entitlements based on some special users and I handle it by checking whether the subscription is expired or not.In the case I’ve observed, after receiving a webhook containing information of a BILLING_ISSUE event, my routine waited for it to expire to check if the subscription was still active, and it wasn’t, so I revoked the promotional entitlement.However, the user latter came to complain, and when I checked their profile on RevenueCat’s dashboard, their subscription was active, but without any events on new subscription or renewals. I immediately returned their promotional entitlement, but I was lost with no information to why they were still active.I’ve used the expiration_at_ms to wait after it to check through the API if the subscription was active.
