Hello,I recently explored the guide on transitioning a paid iOS app to a subscription model as outlined in your article at RevenueCat. While insightful, it doesn't entirely address our specific requirements.Our application is initially free to download, offering in-app purchases (IAP) to access additional functionalities. We're considering introducing a paid version in select markets to evaluate its performance. For this purpose, I'm seeking an effective method to verify whether a user has made a purchase to download the app (not based on the app version).I've come across the possibility of locating a receipt within the app bundle that could potentially provide this information. Could you advise on the reliability of this approach and how to implement it effectively?Thanks for your help.

Recovering a receipt blocked due to Block Restores

Hi! Simple question to understand the full scope of Block Restores, and what the support flow would require in this scenario. Say a user cannot login, maybe the user does not even remember what account used to sign up, so a user is only holding a Receipt. Based on the Receipt, we want to try to reset things. We can do that if we can somehow obtain the original User ID from our side, but to do so we need to store some field from the Receipt or from the Rev Cat Subscriber that we could use to link both. Question is, what field would you recommend to use? Should we try to find an original_transaction_id? The receipt itself as token?Thanks!

Success response for promotional entitlement quite slow

This all works fine, however it often takes around 60 seconds until I receive a response, varying between 10 and 60 seconds. Am I doing something wrong in my code, or is this behaviour expected? Customer is not displayed in customer list

I created a subscriber using the api https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/subscribers/app_user_idI can not find this subscriber in customer list, I checked in active,sandbox, non-subscribers and expired sections. But when I search for the user app_user_id, I can find the user. Why is that?

Managing subscription from different platform

In my app I have a button for managing sunscription. When this button is clicked the management url is taken from the customer info object and if the user is on the same platform(ios or android) as the subscription, then the app store or google play is opened. If the user is on ios, and the subscription was purchased on android, then the google play subscriptions page is opened in vebview.The problem is when the user is on android and the subscription was made on ios, the vebiew that opens takes the user to an itunes page where it says download apple music. I have 2 questions:Is there a way for a user to manage his subscription that was purchased from an ios device, on an android device? (the management url does not work) If it is not possible what would be the best way to manage this scenario?

Paywall API

When does RC plan on releasing an API for creating paywalls?My app allows users to subscribe to multiple creators and each creator needs their own paywall. It is not scalable to manually make a new paywall every time we add a new creator. We already use the API to create the entitlement, product and offerings for a new creator. It makes sense to add an API to create the paywall as well. Alternatively, it would be nice to be able to re-use or duplicate an existing paywall in the RC dashboard.

GetOfferings callback not called on Fire OS (Revenue Cat 5.6.0)

Hello,There have been some similar reports about GetOfferings callback not being called on Fire OS (and some other on Android and iOS, but looks like iOS one has been fixes). I’ve setup everything and was able to get my offering for Android. When I setup the app for Amazon Store the GetOfferings doesn’t call the callback (neither success nor error). Is it safe to switch Restore behavior on running app with existing paying users?

Hi,We are using Alias (legacy) restore behavior and I wonder if switching to Transfer purchases would be safe to do?We already have paying users. We do not have any login mechanism in the app itself and we fully rely on RevenueCat. My motivation to switch from Alias (Legacy) to Transfer Purchases is to enable premium users to get premium features connected with the Premium subscription on multiple devices they use with their Apple ID/Google ID.So the desired result is that a user who downloads our app on a mobile phone and pays for Premium Subscription can download our app also on iPad or other phone and will get premium features of our app on those devices too.Could you please advise if this is doable with switching to Transfer Purchases and if it is safe to switch restore behavior on a running app?Thank you.Lukas

Testflight - cannot renew subscriptions

Hello, We’ve tested with multiple store accounts and we’re running into the same issue: The first subscription purchase works correctly After several renewals the subscription auto-expires, as expected When we attempt to re-subscribe, Purchases.purchaseProduct resolves without showing the App Store purchase flow, or actually renewing the subscription.

Hello RevenueCat Community,I've encountered a scenario in my app where RevenueCat seems to be assigning an anonymous ID to the user even when I have previously configured the SDK with a specific appUserID. This behavior appears to manifest when there's no internet connection available.From my understanding, once a user is assigned a specific appUserID, RevenueCat should use this ID for any future interactions, including syncing purchase information or entitlements. However, in offline scenarios, it seems to revert to using an anonymous ID, which I find perplexing.Could someone clarify under what conditions RevenueCat opts to use an anonymous ID instead of the appUserID provided during SDK configuration? Localization for restore button

I am using revenuecat paywall for react native. I created paywalls for english and arabic. I was able to change the contents of paywall into arabic but i was not able to change the restore, terms and policy buttons to arabic.I am using Sphynx content template, but also tried it Bengal content template. Please guide me if I am missing something.

I’m currently implementing an “Active Subscription” view in my app and was wondering if I can somehow get the following data from the `CustomerInfo`?Next payment price (the next amount the user will be changed)Active renewal period (if the user is subscribed to weekly, monthly or yearly)Family sharing active (if the active subscription can be shared with the iCloud family)A possible workaround could be to load the products again and search for the `productIdentifier`, but here I’m not sure how I’d find out which price is the due on the next payment (intro offer, discount, etc)Thanks in advance!

SwiftUI - isActive is false after auto renewal of subscriptions (Sandbox), i have multiple subscriptions. I get invalid subscription status when checking them.

I have two monthly subscriptions, everything set up well. Purchasing work well. issue is I am trying to subscribe to two cards using sandbox account, then everything works well but checking the subscription status becomes false for card 1 and true for card 2. How to change app to unsubscribed state in sanbox testing?

From the The ultimate guide to iOS subscription testing I found this approach to test subscription restore:One big caveat with iOS testing in the sandbox environment is that there is no receipt file on the device until a purchase is made. This differs from the production sandbox and production environments, where a receipt file is generated at the time of installation. To fully test restoring a purchase in the sandbox, you need to add a button, gesture, or some other means to revert the app to the unsubscribed state.Sign up for a monthly subscription. Use a button or gesture to revert the app to the unsubscribed state. Tap the Restore Purchases button. If you do this before the 35-minute subscription cycle is over, an active subscription should be found, and the app should change to the subscribed state. Question is, how do I perform step 2?
