I have an iOS experiment that I’d like to manually test if both control and treatment work and looks as expected before going to production. I’ve made the necessary changes and am ready to release the new version after testing with both offerings returned by Revenuecat.

As far as I can see, the only way is to start the experiment as a whole to be able to test different treatments. This means my production customers will be bucketed in this experiment without having necessary changes in their build (previous version).

How can I allowlist my userId in an Experiment?

Thanks

Hello,

The best workaround I can give you is overriding the offering for your user ID: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/offering-override At it’s core, that’s the main method of functionality of experiments - which offering should be displayed to the user? This will allow you to test:

  1. That the correct products are in the offering
  2. That your paywall responds correctly to the offering

I hope that helps, let me know if it doesn’t!
