Hello,

So today I got a notification that a user has purchased an in-app subscription from my app. Everything was fine, until I checked the product that was purchased. To my surprise, it was offered from an inactive paywall (was moved to inactive for more than month now, as I’ve created a new, more enhanced paywall with a totally different products).

Does this mean that an inactive paywall may still be visible for some users, and it’s not guaranteed to show only the currently active one?

Hey @mustfaibra,

This shouldn’t be possible (unless of course a misbehavior is happening with the Paywall), but one thing that comes to mind is if the user went to through the App Settings on the device and chose a different subscription/product through there? Users can manage (and in some cases, re-purchase or upgrade/downgrade) subscriptions from the "subscriptions" section in their device's Settings: on iOS, users access this by going to Settings > [Apple ID] > Subscription

Could you check on your own device if this is something you can see happening?

Additionally, if you have a project ID and app user ID where this happened, I can try and have a look to investigate further how they came to have access to the product. If you prefer, you can do this via our Support Form instead - just be sure to reference this thread and myself for easier tracking once the ticket is created.

Hi Gui,

Thanks for highlighting the the flow of Settings > [Apple ID] > Subscription. Yes, the users can see all the plans associated with the app, even if it’s not presented on the paywall.

However the sub details from Revenue Cat dashboard says it’s from the current offering - the new one.

After some investigation from my end, I found out that I was pointing the new active annual (ultimate) in iOS to the inactive annual (pro).

It’s fixed now, thank you for your help and support!
