Play store rejection, reviewer from unsupported country

Hey,My mobile game (I'm using unity SDK) got rejected by the google play store, the screenshot they provided of my paywall shows that the offers weren’t properly shown.We didn’t change the paywall in this submission, and it seems to be working fine on the live version and on iOS.When digging a bit on the potential reasons why, I found out that it is potentially related to the currency info or price property of the packages. I know for a fact, from previous screenshots they sent me, that play store reviewers are sometimes from countries where my subscription offers are not available (India or Pakistan I think).I feel this is conflicting with the fact that my app needs to get access to currency info and package price in order to show the offers.How does revenue cat handle that weird case where the paywall is supposed to show offers that are actually not available to the playstore reviewer given its unsupported country ?Any help appreciated thanks !

Free trials are converted after being cancelled due to a billing errors

Hi RevenueCat team,The question is about trial conversions for our iOS app Customuse.The issue is that many of trials got converted after being cancelled due to billings errors.I’ve attached a couple of examples. In app purchases work fine on iOS, but getting the following error on android: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'INAPP'

How to handle fake signups with refunds

Hi everyone,we had recently the case that some user registred 20 times in our app, bought in app purchases for each account and canceled the purchase afterwards on google. This worked pretty fine for him (no idea why google doesn´t realize this) and is pretty bad for us since we had costs serving the user but receive nothing since the user has canceld the in app purchase.Unfortunately it´s a no-go to let the user wait 2h or 2days (still not sure what is correct) unitl he receives his purchase.How does the revenue community handle this kind of problem?

After Deleting a Transaction from StoreKit, why does RevenueCat still think the Transaction Exists?

I’m new to RevenueCat, read the setup docs, watched some YouTube videos, and I got everything working so far. But I ran into a problem after making a test purchase on a real device.A- In viewDidLoad I run fetchCustomerInfo() to check if the user has subscribed or not. When the user hasn’t, the subscribe and restore buttons are shown. I press the subscribeButton and the transaction is successful. I stop the app, and when I restart, the buttons don’t show, which is correct.B- In Xcode I go to Debug > StoreKit > ManageTransactions > I delete the Transaction, and it says No Transaction.C- I stop the app, open the app back up, and the buttons don’t show, but they should show because there aren't any transactions. I check the flow in step 2 again and it still says No Transaction.D- I go to the RevenueCat console, Projects > My Project > iOS > Customers > Active/Sandbox/Non-Subscription/Expired, there aren't any customers in either of them. There is no data whatsoever.E-

Offerings not Available

Hi, we are having an issue where our offerings are not available. I’m testing on the latest xcode simulator for iOS. I have confirmed the bundle ID in xcode matches with that in revenuecat. I have also confirmed that the product identifier matches with what I am seeing in Apple. Our app is not on the app store and we don’t have a separate prod/dev environment. What could possibly be the issue? I tried going through the steps for the post regarding offerings not showing but I’m unable to figure what is wrong.

How would one go about structuring entitlements in a scenario where a “Premium subscription” will grant access to 10 cake recipes per week. However, if you’d like to get more cake recipes after hitting the limit, you’ll need to make a one-time payment.

Service Account Credentials JSON - Credentials need attention

I made and remade this service account credentials JSON multiple times and it still won’t work. I even created a new google cloud project and made a new service account there. Did the whole process outlined in the docs to create the service account with pub/sub admin etc and it fails to work. I keep getting an error that the “credentials need attention”. It doesn’t seem to have any problem accessing my subscription products in the google play console. However, in each product it also says beside “Store Status” - “Could not check” and “Connection issue - Make sure the service account credentials JSON is configured properly.” Has anybody else had issue like this and managed to resolve them? Is it possible to have multiple subscriptions per user outside of pre-determined subscription groups?

I want to offer the possibility for a user to manage several teams with individual subscriptions for each team. I have read in Apple’s documentation that in order for a user to have several subscriptions for the same app, those subscriptions must be associated with separate subscription groups. But the example they give (different channels) makes it possible to have those subscription groups pre-determined. I can’t do that in my case. Is there a way to support this scenario with in-app purchase subscriptions?

Customer breakdown on last seen platform version

Hello,I’m trying to get a breakdown on Last Seen Platform Version for customers so that we can make a well informed call on supporting older platform versions.This data is visible on customer details UI but it’s not in the CSV file when I export. ios app released but products not showing up even after 72 hours

our in app subscriptions was working in develepment and testflight till we got approved on the app storenow it only works in the debug version the app status is ready for sale and all the products are approved the app has been released for 72 hours but the products still come empty i know it may take up to 24 hours for the products to show up but 72 hours is a concerning as i have not seen any one say it took this long is there a way to check if something is wrong or if we are missing any configration ?

Getting error when trying to fetch ProductDetails from Google Play store in Flutter - repost

Hi all, reposting here because, I got no reply in Dashboard & Tools. This is the error I am getting: W/[Purchases] - WARN(24005): There is a problem with your configuration in Play Store Developer Console. More info here: https://errors.rev.cat/configuring-products I am following the guide here: Why are offerings or products empty? Have not had the app published yet. But the interesting thing is in RevenueCat Dashboard, I can IMPORT my iNAPP products. RevenueCat can identify a new product created in my Play console, import it without any issues but can’t fetch ProductDetails! Is this normal? Again, have not published my app in Closed testing yet, waiting for review to finish. But since I’m a license tester on a physical phone, and RevenueCat can fetch the products themselves from the Dashboard, maybe there is something else I am missing?

App Store rejected because of bad offering

Hello,So I am trying to get my app approved on App Store. Basically I have a subscription group which contains a single product that is payed monthly. But I also add an offer of free first month for new users for that product. I did all configurations as tutorials show and I am able to test the subscription, the restore purchases and those things.But then Apple rejected my app saying that I am trying to make a full payment attempt when I should offer the first month for free. I don’t know how this is being handled by revenue cat, am I missing something? I just configured the product on revenue cat but I didn’t configured any “first month offer” inside revenue cat, just on Apple side for that product.We found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience.Specifically, while your subscription offer promises the first month for free, the purchase page does not respect this offer and attempts to complete the full payment at that instant.P

Error for IOS with non renewable subscriptions --> Non-renewable subscriptions behave different in Google Play and App Store?

I am currently implementing my subscriptions for android and ios using cordova-plugin-purchases (4.2.3).I want to use subscriptions which are non renewing.F.e. user buys “premium access” for 1 year. After 1 year the subscription expires (and does not renew) and the entitlement should be removed.So far so good. In Google Play I can configure this. I link the product in revenuecat, I buy it, I get the entitlement, after the period the entitlement is removed. Fine!I assumed I can do the same in Apples Appstoreconnect. There is the option to create a subscription without auto renew. So I created one, I link it in revenuecat. I create an offer. It is visible in my offers on my iphone.But two things happening:I cannot set a duration for the subscription in App Store Connect (seems pretty odd to me for a subscription product. Isn´t it then just a consumable / one time purchase?) I get an error from RC cordova SDK: “DEBUG: Couldn’t decode ‘PeriodType’ from json. Error: Found unexpected value

Hello, I just started adding a subscription to an android app using java for the first time.Following the getting started guide, I got to the “Making a purchase” section. Caching offerings - how to update offerings

I’ve updated my subscriptions/products in Google Play and restarted my app, but RevenueCat Purchases.getOfferings() never updates with updated titles, descriptions, or pricing. Expo and Storekit

I didn’t understand how to test the inApp purchases on a iOS simulator using Expo. I usually run my code withnpx expo run:ios I’ve created the subscription and certificate in XCode following the documentation: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/apple-app-store#ios-14-only-testing-on-the-simulator Now I’m not sure how to build/run correctly the app.

App Removal

If you remove an app with an in-app subscription from the App Store, what happens? I assume no new customers can download the app. But can existing downloads still purchase the subscription? Will existing customers be charged for renewals? Does Apple notify the user that the app is no longer available?

Hello Devs, am getting this persistent error “ PlatformException(3, The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase., {code: 3, message: The device or user is not allowed to make the purchase., readableErrorCode: PurchaseNotAllowedError, readable_error_code: PurchaseNotAllowedError, underlyingErrorMessage: Error when fetching products. DebugMessage: Client does not support ProductDetails.. ErrorCode: FEATURE_NOT_SUPPORTED.}, null)” and I have followed the tutorials posted on your youtube channel STEP BY STEP, but am still faced with the same bug on both real devices and emulators alike. please help as this has made me completely dissapointed in Revenue Cat as a company and am seriously considering other options. If the videos on your youtube channel are now obsolete please do well to update them.
