I would like to setup the webhook but keep it off. It looks like the only option is binary: it exists and is turned on, OR, delete it.
Any way to have it exist, but it’s off?

At this time, there isn’t a way to turn it off necessarily but you could work around this by changing the “Event type” dropdown to “Specify types” and then not toggling on any of the event types. You could also set the Environment to only the option that you are not using - for example “Sandbox” if you are not testing, or “Production” if the app is not yet live.
Do either of these workarounds seem like they could work for you?
yes, it’s fine - i just like configuring things and then enabling rather than tinkering to work around. perhaps an idea for the product/engineering teams
