Subscription Packages Not Loading on TestFlight After Expo Build

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hi,

In my app developed with Expo, in-app subscription packages load and display correctly in the development environment (expo go/local). However, after building for production and installing the app via TestFlight, the packages cannot be fetched and I get an error (e.g., “Rejected” or “product not found”).
My IAP products are approved on App Store Connect and the bundle ID is correct. I’m using RevenueCat and have double-checked the configuration. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi @muratkilic,

I’ve checked your project and I can see that your subscriptions are in "Waiting for review", Apple requires that the first subscriptions you put in your app are sent together with your app for review. This means that they should always be in "Ready to submit" while you are testing it in Testflight and when you send your app build for review, attach the subscription products so they all get reviewed together.

Let me know if this helps!

Hey @joan-cardona my App was rejected by apple because it failed to "Subscribe", se screenshot below.
They said:
"We found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience. Specifically, an error occurred when attempting to purchase IAP. Please review the details and resources below and complete the next steps.

Review device details:

- Device type: iPad Air 11-inch (M2)
- OS version: iPadOS 18.6
"
The screenshot below was provided by them

The status of the subscriptions are: Waiting for Review.
It was the first time I've added the subs, which require a new app version, so, how I solve this problem?! Since it is a circular problem

Hi @hlspablo,

You should add the subscriptions in the section for In-App Purchases and Subscriptions.

This way Apple reviewers will be able to review (and see) both the app binary and your in-app products. If you send them separately they won’t get reviewed and approved.
