Hi RevenueCat team,

My app has been rejected multiple times due to an error in the Google Play Console: “The item that you were attempting to purchase could not be found.” This error appears for the Google app reviewers, but the app successfully passed review on the App Store and has been released.

I tested the app by adding my email to the license testing section in Google Play Console. However, it seems that the Google reviewer is not on this list, which may be causing the error. Are there any specific steps I should follow to ensure the app passes the review process?

I also came across a discussion mentioning the same issue, but I’m not sure what changes I need to make to resolve this. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi @volodymyr-138bdb,

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue. The normal way to proceed is to first, appeal the rejection or resubmit again. What’s important now is to explain to the reviewers that your app is functional and demonstrating it with a screen recording. This should be good enough to pass the review and have everything working in production.

Let me know if this works!

Hello sir, I am also experiencing this problem. Did you find any solution?

Hello, I have the same problem. All the configurations that were told to me from the RevenueCat ticket are complete. Can we find a solution other than that? What will happen if I object with a video recording and get rejected again? Is there a definitive solution?

Hi @mehmet-emin-yildiz-9137e8,

From our experience, sending the screen recording is enough to get approved! It’s worth double checking that everything works correctly in sandbox and test different scenarios just to be sure that the user will get the premium features.

Best,
