Design Questions for Revenuecat Implementation

I have a question.I'm thinking of leaving the in-app purchase subscriptions for my iOS and Android apps to Revenuecat, storing the data received from Revenuecat's Webhooks on my own server, and using that data to control the provision and suspension of paid features in my app using my own app API. In that case, I have two questions.1. Webhooks are asynchronous, so what should I do if I need to take delays or non-delivery into account? I'd like to know if there is a Revenuecat function that can take that into account.2. Is this design correct in the first place? The purpose of introducing Revenuecat is to reduce the cost of implementing in-app purchase subscriptions in-house in accordance with the specifications of Apple and Google's platforms.

Wrong free trial length

When we created our plans, wrong offer (trial period) was added to 1 of the plans on google play store. Accidentally we used 7 months instead of 7 weeks. Trial length was changed to the correct one already.Is there any way to change trial length for existing users? Or maybe some other suggestion what can be done to not allow users to use app for free for 7 months?

Best practices on handling webhooks

Hello! I am trying to verify a user’s subscription on my backend, and it seems like there’s a lot of event types from the revenuecat webhook to consider.https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/integrations/webhooks/event-types-and-fieldsI want to know if i want to ensure my user’s subscription status on my backend matches with the revenuecat source of truth, do i need to necessarily implement a handler for each of these event types? It feels like alot of effort, and I am wondering if there is usually a need to implement handling for all event cases, or do most apps just need to implement for a few event types?

Huge "Payment Declined" Rate on Google Play Store

Hello,We have a huge rate of “Payment Pending”, “Payment Decline”, and “Canceled” on our subscriptions in Google Play Store, after the end of one-week trial.We tried contacting Google several times, but they say everything is normal and don’t give us any helpful answer. :-/Since some of the payments go through, we believe it shouldn’t be a general technical issue. So, we are wondering if anyone has any idea, thoughts, or experience that can help us. Here is one page of our “Order management.” We have 8 pages like this in August.   Further Notes:We are in the US, and running Google Ads in the US. (Most these users are US-Based.) We have a registered LLC in California, operate in California, have got a D-U-N-S number and Tax Registration numbers and we have put all of them in the Developer profile and Google has validated them. We tried switching from $59.99/yr to $7.99/mo (with one week trial) to reduce the transaction amount, but we still see a lot of these Payment Pending/Declined/Can

Two separate paywalls with RevenueCatUI.presentPaywallIfNeeded()

Hello,I want to have two separate paywalls for my app. One for subscriptions and for one one-time purchases. I have created both paywalls in my RevenueCat account. However, when I use the RevenueCatUI.presentPaywallIfNeeded() function with different strings for offering identifiers, I get every time the default offering. In other words, the second paywall does not show even though I have put the correct offering identifier. Do you know how to achieve the behavior I described above?Just to clarify, the user does not have the entitlements so the paywall shows.

Allow to specify paywall language programmatically

Hi,We are developing language app where user selects their native language. Can you add a parameter to specify language code when displaying the paywall e.g. ```RevenueCatUI.presentPaywallIfNeeded(            _defaultEntitlement,            displayCloseButton: true,            userLanguage: ‘en-GB’          );```that will try display the paywall in the specified language rather than using device settings(it will still be the fallback mechanism if userLanguage fails).Thanks!

Google Play App Refund Processed but Missing in RevenueCat

Hi,I'm currently dealing with an issue involving a user who purchased an annual subscription via Google Play in January and requested a refund shortly after. According to the Google Play app, the refund was processed successfully. However, RevenueCat shows no record of this refund, only indicating that the subscription expired in April and the account reverted to the basic version. Key details:Google Play app indicates refund processed. RevenueCat only shows subscription expired. The user can no longer access paid features. No refund record found on Google’s support page. I've advised the user to check with their bank and Google Support, but I need help understanding the discrepancy between Google Play and RevenueCat. Could this be a sync issue, or is there another cause? Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

iOS: Can a user use a Promotional offer while still being in trial?

Hi,I have an annual subscription product with a 7-day free trial.I want to be able to give the user a possibility to get a 20% discount (promotional offer, as they now are a subscriber), after they have started their trial. Like a “You have started a trial period, but if you convert now you can save 20%”. Do you know if this is possible? Br.Jakob

How to update "total spent" for select customers when amount is wrong

We implemented iOS offer codes, but not with revenueCat properly. So now subscriptions are being read, but the total paid / revenue is $0, when in reality it’s not.Is there a way to custom edit individual entries?

About entitlemnts on different platforms

Is it possible to share entitlement between IOS and Android ? I thought it is possible but I could not get EntitlementInfos from CustomerInfo object via same user id. The entitlement surely  shows on dashbord but when I opened my app and saw the logs. it showed empty in the object.. I am woking on sandbox.

Test "Never had any subscription"

Hello,I have an app with a 3 days trial on android. I just added A single payment offer but I am not able to see it, it should be because I already subscribed with this phone. Trial and Sub conversion rates of firebase dynamic links

Users are manually changing their subscription offer after experiment presented them something else

Hi there!Have somebody experienced this? Is there a way around it?What happens is: user is presented with a paywall (through an experiment) user go the iOS settings/subscriptions and then change their subscription, effectively choosing the cheapest option (since they can see all in app purchases there)Is this normal? Is there a way around it, to prevent the user from changing their originally presented offer through the A/B experiment?Thanks!

RevenueCat Experiment with Offer Codes

We’re working into creating an experiment but it looks like it would affect the usage of offer codes. We create an offer code under a subscription and since an Experiment requires a separate subscription, we would also need to create a separate code. As I see it, it’s unavoidable so maybe offer code doesn’t work well with Experiments?

Is it normal that 90% of customers cancel their purchases before making the payment?

I have a Flutter app with $0.99 one-time consumable product. Customers start the purchase and cancel it about half a minute later when the Google payment bottom sheet appears. RevenueCat returns:PurchasesErrorCode.purchaseCancelledErrorIt's my first app with revenue, so I have nothing to compare it with. Is it normal that most of the time users start and cancel their payments?

How to configure subscription with multiple offers

Hi all,I’m launching a subscription service that consist of a premium subscription with the possibility to purchase it monthly, 3-monthly and annual.I’d like to offer also two intro promotion:single purchase of a month subscription for a very discounted price, if you have a promo code single purchase of a month, 3 month or year subscription for a discounted price + a free trial of 1 week, otherwiseI’d also like to offer the second option to the people who bought the first one after their month finished.These offer are not renewing, so at the end the base price will show up. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to configure these subscription on both google and app store.Any help is appreciated.

Can i choose a different tier for my subscription directly from store?

Hi,When testing the subscriptions i noticed that on the subscription management page on the play store (Android) there is no option to choose a different subscription tier. In comparison on IOS if you go to the store to manage the subscription you have all tier options to choose from (pic below).Is there any setting to enable this on Android also or is it not possible at all to do this on android?

Forgive me if this is a rookie question but I can’t seem to figure out how to customise the text of the subscription. Where can I set the text that will be displayed here (red highlight on screenshot)? Is is possible to show a different text for the Sandbox accountExample shows iOS but I also want to set this on Android.  Thanks!

Android issue: Problem with sync

Hello RC team,We're encountering a problem on Android. When calling getCustomerInfo(), the result shows that the user doesn't have any active subscriptions. Different information

In the image it shows a renewed subscription, right after it shows payment error, but on Google Play it is renewed.The problem is that the user is getting a billing_issues_detected_at warningIt's been two days and there's no equality in the datacould someone help

Subscriptions for other business

Hello,I know based on legal/irs rules, we are not allowed to collect subscriptions and manually pay the person the end user is subscribing to.  I know stripe has connect, which the 3rd parties authenticate and provide their payout details (ach or otherwise).  Then they also deal with creating the IRS forms and such. Does Revenuecat support taking subscriptions on behalf of another business entity?
