Why do I need to log in/out to do a subscription? In real life you just choose a subscription, double click and pay with Apple Pay, it never asks for your email. I followed this video which requires the user to log in to make a purchase, which I tested and asks for an email & password. Am I going to be able to just double tap and pay for the subscription in production with the same code?

Hi, yes in production you should be able to make purchases without the additional login confirmation. Being asked to login when purchasing a subscription is a sandbox quirk and something that Apple controls and it happens randomly or all the time while testing.
