How to implement 2 'annual' subscription packages? (SwiftUI)

Apologies if this is a newbie question, but I’m struggling with implementing what I consider a rather simple auto-renewable subscription offering consisting of two packages on iOS with SwiftUI:Annual Individual Plan (family sharing disabled) Annual Family Plan (family sharing enabled)When I create the second package, RC refuses to create it, because the ‘Annual’ identifier is already taken.I solved it temporarily with a custom identifier (“Annual Family”), but RC does not automatically recognise the subscription length (annual) and throws WARN: ⚠️ Unknown subscription length for package:default, ignoring.Any advice on how to implement the above scenario (two annual packages) is much appreciated, thank you!

lots of $RCAnonymousID's

Hi, if I understand the docs wel, we must do as soon as possible when the app starts do a Purchases.setup()And then when we have our own UID (after logging into our backend) we do a Purchases.logIn(our_ID)But when a user is logging out en back in again, another $RCAnonymousID is created and stored on the RC backend. Questions about migratung from another service to RevenueCat

I currently use Nami Paywall for in app purchases on Android and iOS only. I want to move to RevenueCat. I would like to know if I need to sync purchases receipts or import receipts into RevenueCat? I am not sure if Nami allows us to export data however I like to know if1.) it’s required2.) what are the benefits of import the data to RevenueCat3.) scenes all of my users that made in app purchases are iOS and Android users (devices) would RevenueCat be able to pull in all of the data as far as previous sell history, trend information, active users when every a user launches the new app version of the app for the first time.  Can someone please explain to me the most important things that I need to do. basically I just want to allow my existing users that have active subscription in the apple App Store and google play store continue to use there subscriptions as  seamless as possible. If possible I would love to have there purchase history once they launch the app for the first time.  La

Stripe Test Mode best practices?

It’s unclear what the best practice is for managing test mode (especially on Stripe) wrt Rev Cat. In Stripe you have to create a different set of Products (with different IDs) for live vs test mode. Does this mean that I should maintain a separate “test” or “dev” project in Revenue Cat?I’m wondering if there’s another approach I’ve not yet thought of that may be simpler.

Determine all uses added or removed from an entitlement / subscription in the past week.

Hello! I’m currently implementing a job for application that has 2 use cases.Determine all users who have been ADDED to an entitlement this week Determine all users who have been REMOVED from an entitlement this weekThe entitlement in question is a monthly subscription to one of our premium features, and I have to manually make a report of all users who were added / removed from this subscription / entitlement, so we can manually turn on/off this premium feature for them.(But NOT a user who successfully renewed their subscription this cycle and therefore isn’t added or removed, just continuing their subscription) We store a lot of information from revenue cat: All the webhooks we receive All of the information from the Get or create subscriber endpointMy first stab at attempting to do this is looking at all the webhook events a user has received in the past week. Transactions fail with "billing issue"

Hello, I have RevenueCat integrated with one of my apps and I loved it so far, but recently I’ve noticed that some of my transactions fail with “billing issue” for example last week I’ve had 4 in a row free trial conversions to paid users fail with a billing issue which seems too odd to be coincidence 1 of the transactions first failed with billing issue then 24h later appeared as “converted from the free trial”The api version the app uses is: 3.11.1Users with billing issue are using IOS 14 and 15 and located in US and AustraliaSo are there some logs that I can check to see what was the reason for the failed transactions or can someone from RevenueCat check that for me? Thank you!

Configuring subscription products

Hello, I have a question on how to implement RevenueCat in our react native app and would like to verify if i configured the products correctly. So i have 1 subscription group in the app store with product a monthly, a yearly, b monthly, b yearly, a+b monthly and a+b yearly.I added these 1 to 1 in products in RevenueCat. Then I made 3 entitlements: a, b and a+b and added their monthly and yearly product. These are the 3 levels of access. These 3 levels i want to show in the app. When a user already has subscription a and purchase b it needs to go to a+b. Now i get confused with offerings because i create a default one and can only add 1 monthly and 1 yearly product. What I do now to show the products in the app is with Purchases.getOfferings() and then made 3 offerings. Again a, b and a+b and get result.all instead of current to loop over all the products. In app i can purchase a product in sandbox mode and get an active subscription but then i can purchase another. Is this normal ? Ho

I've cleared Sandbox tester purchase history on App Store Connect but subscription is still active in RevenueCat

I’ve successfully managed to make my first sandbox subscription purchase with an iPhone device, in a React Native app. Now I want to cancel this sandbox subscription to try my workflow again. According to App Store Connect:As you can see in the screenshot above, Apple writes: “To repeatedly test common in-app purchase scenarios for a sandbox tester, click Edit to clear their purchase history.”I have cleared their purchase history but the subscription remains in RevenueCat:Aren’t App Store and RevenueCat synced?How can I easily cancel a users subscription everywhere (in sandbox environment)? I’m basically trying to figure out the smoothest testing workflow for purchasing subscriptions, cancelling them and retrying the whole process, many times.

iOS ad hoc debug - Sandbox user only has monthly access

Hi,I am trying to debug my iOS app with console.  When i set up my sandbox user, i could only select a monthly subscription.  My app offers a weekly and a monthly.In addition, my logger messages do not display my available packages.  I see that i have 2 packages set up, but they are displaying as <private>  Is there any way to display them? Thanks for your help!Brian

Single API GET request for the current full list of subscribers

Hi all,After checking several questions in the community and the API documentation, it is my understanding that https://api.revenuecat.com/v1/subscribers/{app_user_id} will only get the latest purchase information for the single app_user_id provided.Is there a way to GET all the current purchase and user_id info from the users actually subscribed or in trial at once?Thanks,A.

How should i use my staging app with revenue cat (bundle id mismatch)

Hey I have 2 builds of my app (different bundle id’s), production and staging. In appstore connect, I only have the production app, so ive made my IAP’s there and when i use revenuecat with the bundle id set to production, it works with the production build app, all good!However, when I want to develop on staging, with the staging app, i use the staging instance of revenue cat (different project with the other bundle id)...but this one cant pull data from appstoreconnect...because the bundle id’s are different.How am i meant to pull IAP’s into my staging app? can i use my production app IAP’s in appstore connect with my staging app? do i need to make a staging app in appstore connect with its own IAP’s? what are the implications of this if so?Thanks for some help on how to handle this setup!

How to get around "Google Service Account credentials JSON is invalid"?

I have been following the instructions here https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/creating-play-service-credentials and downloaded the the .json file in step 2. I am attempting to “Enter the Credentials JSON in RevenueCat” in step 4, though I’m concerned I’m doing it wrong.  The UI seems to expect a single line of text, and the .json that Google Cloud generates is quite large.  If this is the proper way to use Revenue Cat, this is janky as all hell. Anyway, I have taken the .json contents into a plain text editor, joined all lines, and removed all spaces (as per recommendations in other community posts), but when I attempt to upload the .json, I see this error message:  (Image reads: “The provided Google Service Account credentials JSON is invalid.”) This seems to be an immediate failure (many community posts seem to involve long wait times for credentials to become active or something).  There is no help for figuring out if I’m adding the json contents incorrectly, or if so, what’s wrong f

Does Android have subscription groups?

For IOS, we can create a subscription group with multiple products. For example, say we have a group with two products: Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly. The subscription group makes sure that the user can only have one at a time. Changing from one to another is a crossgrade.How is this supposed to be done with Android? I couldn’t find anything in the Google play console for subscription groups.Is it a correct assumption that if the user purchased Premium Monthly product, they cannot switch to Premium Yearly product in Android account since there is no such thing as subscription groups? They can only cancel their product?And does this mean that we would have to create a screen in our Android app to handle the situation if the user wanted to change from monthly to yearly? My app is react native. Is the functionality to do this in the react native purchases library or should I be using the RevenueCat’s API?

Error with Product Identifiers - iOS

My app works with the subscription and RevenueCat. However I get an error with the following:2021-11-03 07:29:01.912 seed2021[68531:4997387] [Purchases] - WARN: 🍎‼️ Invalid Product Identifiers - (    801,    901) Initially when I had configured RevenueCat, I had two additional products added for iOS for the inApp purchase, and the products added to RevenueCat. Over time I decided to remove these (801,901) from iOS and also from RevenueCat. However, I get this warning that appears RevnueCat still has these cached somewhere and I don’t know how to remove these to get rid of the error.

4 packages under one entitlement?

So we are facing a weird edge case in the app.Two months ago I created an entitlement "monthlysub"  and assigned two products "monthlysub" from apple and "monthysub" from google play store (I know the naming convention is not ideal).So a user purchased the subscription "monthlysub" and cancelled it later on.Now we decided to create a new product for specific users with 30 days trial. We decided to name the new product "amplimontlysub"  on both apple and google platforms.Next, I decided to add these products under the already exiting "monthlysub" entitlement. So now " monthlysub" entitlement has a total of four products.”Now when an old user who purchased two months ago but cancelled it decide to subscribe to  "amplimontlysub" product and the transactions from the apple side go thru, the transaction is done I see a pop from apple "you are all set" then I get an error from revenuecat that "there is already another active subscriber using the same receipt".How do I handle this? we want to

PI-Hole Blocking all traffic

Hi team. Today I was trying to check my dashboard and all of the API calls were failing. I was also unable to load any info in the app. I was able to trace the problem to my pi hole blocking all of the requests. I’ve had the pi hole installed for a while, so this is a new development. Either they’ve added Revenue Cat to their block list, or the APIs changed to something that gets blocked by them. I’ve already added an exception, so I’m set, but I wanted to let the team know in case you wanted to investigate.

offerings are null

Hello;I have implemented nine android apps without a problem but I had a problem on my tenth one. I believe I followed the same steps. I have read the article; but everything is correct according to it. I am testing on emulator. My closed test relase is approved about an hour ago. But I haven’t created a new app, I have updated an existing one. In my previous implemetations I even tested transactions when the closed track wasn’t approved. Not receiving 'TRANSFER' webhook

Hello RC Community  This morning in production we hit our first “Restore Purchase” scenario and hit a few hicups.We had a user sign up for a subscription, then immediately sign into another account on our app. (So two users on OUR app, using one apple ID) They triggered the restore purchase behavior (our app is currently set to ‘Transfer Purchases’) and we did see a TRANSFER event for both of these users in the dashboard - but did NOT receive a webhook. Looking at the RC dashboard we can see: User 1 started a subscription (We got the INITAL_PURCHASE webhook successfully) User 1 got a transfered event (Transfered to User 2’s ID) User 1 lost all their entitlements/subscriptions User 2 got all of their entitlements & subscriptions The problem we are hitting is that we keep record of subscriptions on our end using the recommended method in the docs: to refresh a user’s data whenever we receive a webhook. BUT we didn’t receive a TRANSFER webhook for EITHER of these users, so now our dat
