I have a targeting at the first place (at the top in the rules order) and I’m running a few experiments rn and I need to exclude my sandbox user from the experiment so I can test with different offerings, but I couldn’t find a way to do this. Is there a way to unenroll a user from an experiment?

Hi @Julia,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m happy to help.

While there isn’t a literal “unenroll” button, there’s a reliable way to change a specific user assigned offering. For that sandbox user (or any user), you can override their current offering at the customer profile level. A per-user Offering Override takes precedence over experiments, so the SDK will always return the override you set for that user instead of an experiment variant. You can do this right in the dashboard on the customer profile (“Current Offering” card).

FYI RevenueCat resolves what to show in this order: (1) Custom offering override -> (2) Experiments -> (3) Targeting -> (4) Default. So once you set an override for your sandbox tester, experiment enrollment won’t affect them.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions, I’m happy to assist.

Best,

Hussain
