Funnels Beta & In-App Onboarding

Hi, 

At RAGA 2025, you mentioned that your new Funnels product would be in Beta around the end of the year. Can I try it? 

Also: You frame it as “web-to-app”. But I’m more interested in having my normal app onboarding be remotely configurable, A/B testable, etc. So will I be able to use your Funnels product as my normal app onboarding flow (user downloads app, launches app, goes through RC funnel, finally lands on my apps home screen)?

​@tobysola1 Thanks for your interest in Funnels! It’s not quite ready for beta testing, but our team is working hard on it and should have a Beta ready shortly. 

The use case you’re describing will come in the future, but isn’t the primary use case for Funnels for our initial launch. But the infrastructure we’re building will eventually be extended to onboarding.

Please keep an eye out for announcements re: a Funnels beta (if you’re interested in the non-onboarding use case to start). Thanks!

    ​@jeffrey_bunn Ok thanks! Do you have any idea when regular onboarding might be released? Like, within 2026 or after? 

    Also: Could I hack together my use case with your initial release? For example: 

    1. Download app 
    2. Launch app 
    3. Pressing “Continue” on the initial screen leads you to a Funnel experience via a simple in-app web browser??
    4. After getting through the funnel, the in-app browser disappears and you finish off onboarding in-app??

    I just really want to A/B test my onboarding and don’t want to build out a complicated onboarding UI if I’ll soon be able to do it using something like your Paywalls builder.
