RevCat dashboard issue: Android prepaid subscription being treated as renewing in subscription totals

I’m wondering if there’s a setting I can change somewhere. I have a day pass set up as a prepaid subscription for my Android users. It seems to be working fine in the actual app and not renewing, but the RevCat dashboard counts it as a renewing subscription until it expires. This means that my MRR is shown as my actual MRR + (each active daypass’ cost * 30). This is pretty annoying as I do like to use the dashboard but this makes my totals very inaccurate.

Hi @aelise,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m happy to help.

Our MRR chart normalizes the value of any active paid subscription period to a monthly amount. Because a prepaid base plan shows up as an active subscription while it’s valid, it’s included in MRR until it expires, even though it won’t auto-renew. There isn’t a setting today to make MRR automatically treat Android prepaid plans as non-recurring or exclude them by default. I’ve shared this with our product team so they can evaluate changing how prepaid is handled in subscription totals/MRR going forward.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I’m happy to help.

Best,

Hussain
