No local TimeZone in charts v3

Why has there been no progress in adding local time zone to the charts? Im in UTC + 10 so the default timezone is worthless to me.

It means I have to export data if I want to actually correlate it with other sources.

Why has RevenueCat ignored this issue for over a year? Yet I see adds everyday bragging about how many features they are supposedly shipping...

Obviously no one is asking to see each purchase in the local time of the region it was made in.

We desperately want the charts to show the timezone of the developer’s region. That way we can actually tell what is going on in our business.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for sharing this.

I can understand why this is frustrating, especially if you’re trying to compare RevenueCat charts with other sources that use your local business timezone.

We do have this tracked internally, but there’s some underlying data and product work needed before we can implement it. It’s currently in our backlog and not actively being worked on yet.

The main challenge is that chart data is currently aggregated around UTC day boundaries. Supporting custom/local timezones is not just a display change, since the underlying daily totals can change depending on where the “day” starts. A proper solution likely needs changes to how we aggregate or query chart data, plus a shared timezone setting so teams looking at the same project do not see different numbers.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a timeline I can share yet, but I’ll log your request in the existing internal ticket which should help boost its priority.

Happy to help with any other questions you have.

Cheers,
