Hey RC Team,

I use your charts mulitple times a day to track the progress of my business.

One thing that would be a massive help to me would be to have a chart that looks at auto-renew status and gives the expected churn over the coming days. I think 30 days would be fine for my use case.

I have created a number of custom charts and customer segments to track this to get a decent look at it but if there was a chart it would be super easy. It could even have the New MRR forecast as well as the auto-renew status of outstanding trials if you wanted to match the MRR Movement chart design but tbh that would be less important for us as we have a relatively good handle on forecasts for the new MRR.

Happy to share screenshots and snippets if you guys wanted to take the idea forward.

Best,
Tom

Hi @tom-standen-295660, thank you for reaching out to share this feedback with us; we always appreciate when developers do so!

I would be happy to share this internally with the rest of the team as a suggestion, however we do already have an option in the Charts tool that I wanted to see if it would work for what you are asking for. I am referring to our Subscription Status Chart, which “breaks down Active Subscriptions, Active Trials, MRR, ARR, or Subscription Revenue by the current status of the underlying subscription contributing to that measure” as our documentation mentions. If you wanted to see the subscription revenue that is set to churn, you could set the Measure of the Chart to “Subscription Revenue” and then take a look at the “Set to Cancel” result(s).

Would this work for you? If not, feel free to provide further context as to what this suggested Chart would do that would be useful for you.

Hey Wes,

Yeah i’m a big user of Subscription Status and Subscription Retention charts. The closest i’ve got to what I’d like is the Subscription Status chart segemented by Expiration Month. I guess the simplest solution to what I’m asking for is for the ability to have it segmented by Expiration Date, instead of month.

The main use case is for shareholder reporting which is not done at the end of the month so it’s helpful to be able to quickly see the set to churn before X date in a month. As I say, I can get by atm by using a combination of the above chart and certain saved audiences but given that i’ve been doing it frequently for the last 2 years, I thought worth asking.

Totally can appreciate how it would be useful to be able to segment by Expiration Date as well! I’ll pass your feedback along to the Charts team internally. If you have any further feedback, feel free to share it as well and I will make sure to add it to the feedback so the team is aware.
