Hey guys, how's it going?

Recently, our team is working on exporting the csv from revenuecat everyday to our Google Clooud Storage. After that we ingest the data into databricks using Airbyte. The ingestion work with no problem, however, when we try to replicate the data from ReveuneCat he numbers don't match 100%.

I'm following the documentation, and using the exact query, but it's not matching. using the AI from RevenueCat, I understood that one of the problems might be related to the date time (the exports uses start_time and revenuecat uses another time column), but I can't see that second column in the csv.

Any thoughts on this?

Hey @sergio-pestana-6fc03a!

In many cases, it’s possible to get close to the RevenueCat charts information with the Scheduled Data Exports but not exact, due to a variety of reasons. A big one is that the export may not have access to all of the information that is used in the internal calculation. Another factor is that the SDE is a snapshot of the data at the time of the export, while the data that you see in Charts is living and may have been updated since your last export. It’s best to think of these queries as a starting point for reproducing RevenueCat metrics, rather than an exact match.

Thanks @kaitlin ! I’ve imagined that but I didn’t find any documentation that could clarify it! :D

We could definitely clarify this better in our SDE docs! I’ll have a look at how we can make this more clear.
