We changed the price of a Web Billing subscription product the way the docs suggest (we created new products and swapped them into our offering).
The old products are out of the offering, but they're still attached to our entitlement, because existing subscribers are on them.
We'd like to archive the old products to tidy up the catalog, but we couldn't find what that does to existing subscribers.
Questions:
If a product is archived, do its subscriptions keep renewing and keep their entitlement?
Does anything else change for those subscribers, like the customer portal or renewal emails?
Thanks!

Hi,
Archiving a Web Billing product only hides it in the catalog. Existing subscriptions keep renewing at their current price, and they keep the entitlement as long as that product stays attached to it.
The customer portal and renewal emails do not change. Renewal emails keep using the product title, not the dashboard display name.
Note that there are some catalog limits:
A product has to be removed from any live offering before it can be archived. Yours already are, so you can archive the old monthly and annual products.
While a product is inactive, it cannot be edited or attached to an offering or entitlement. Making it active again reverses that.
Archiving does not block a checkout that still uses the old product identifier. New customers stop seeing the old price because those products are no longer in the offering.
