Difficulty getting the V2 paywall up and running in my app

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hi, stepped away from this particular app I’m working on and just got back to it again. I’m still having difficulties getting the new paywall to show in the app. I had posted a question sometime ago but didn't get to try the proffered suggestions earlier as I stepped away from the app.

when I try to duplicate or create a new offering, and attach the newly created paywall to it, it still displays with errors.

how do I detach the current V1 paywall from the offerings?

Hi @femialiu, to remove a legacy paywall from an Offering, the legacy paywall must be deleted. After the legacy paywall is deleted from an Offering, you can update a paywall to use that Offering.

To delete a legacy paywall:

  1. Open it via the Paywalls page on your dashboard
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Delete paywall

To change the Offering associated with a (non-legacy) paywall:

  1. Open the (non-legacy) paywall via the Paywalls page on your dashboard
  2. Look for the General paywall properties sidebar on the right
  3. Select a different Offering Identifier under Select an Offering for your Paywall

Thanks @chris_perriam for your reply. I have followed the steps you outlined above. I deleted the legacy paywall I had in the app successfully. However, I’m still not able to get the V2 paywall to show in the app following the steps outlined in your reply above. I still can't get what I’m missing. Now I have an app in production without a paywall 😀
I keep seeing the error that the offering has no configured paywall

for some reason, I'm not able to upload screenshots here so I’ll use links:

It would really be helpful if there was like a video showing how to do the steps outlined in your reply and getting the new V2 paywall showing in an app.

@femialiu which version of the RevenueCat SDK are you using? It’s possible that your SDK version does not support our new paywalls.

Here is our guide for the required SDK versions when using our (new) paywalls: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/tools/paywalls#required-sdk-versions

@chris_perriam the SDK version in my project is 5.5.0. I just updated it and the paywall is displaying. Thank you very much. 🙏🏽
