Dear community, 

 

I'm currently trying to get my app in the app store, but it has been rejected twice for the following reason:
 

We found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience. Specifically, When attempting to purchaise the subscription, the app loaded indefinitly. Please review the details and resources below and complete the next steps.

 

Review device details:

 

- Device type: iPad Air (5th generation)

- OS version: iOS 18.1

 

Next Steps

 

When validating receipts on your server, your server needs to be able to handle a production-signed app getting its receipts from Apple’s test environment. The recommended approach is for your production server to always validate receipts against the production App Store first. If validation fails with the error code "Sandbox receipt used in production," you should validate against the test environment instead.

 

I really don't understand what the issue is, everything works fine in testflight modes for me (see video) so i'm not sure what to do.

Hi! This issue may be a result of the unreliability of Apple’s sandbox environment that they use for reviewing, but I would be happy to look further. Can you share the app user ID that the reviewer used so that I can take a closer look at the requests and data on my end? If you would rather not share an app user ID publicly, you can also submit a private support ticket through the Dashboard and we can continue the troubleshooting over email.

Hi ​@wes_clark ,

My apple app has been rejected with exactly same reason. Can you please let us know what can we do about this issue? I will also create a ticket and send it using my Dashboard. Apple is continuously rejecting app with this reason and there is nothing, we as a developer can do.

In case others come across this thread, I just wanted to make sure to share here what the issue ended up being for Aman as a result of our investigation with his private ticket. You must close the paywall view after purchasing/restoring the purchase and clearly show the user that the purchase has been granted successfully.
