Question

Error #23: There is an issue with your configuration iOS deployment target 18.0

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

Hello. I have read all the existing posts on this issue, but am still stuck.

My Flutter app has been successfully processing purchases via RevCat for over a year, but following publishing the latest version of the app, iOS users are getting Error #23 when trying to purchase: “There is an issue with your configuration. Check the underlying error for more details. There's a problem with your configuration. None of the products registered in the RevenueCat dashboard could be fetched from App Store Connect”

I have changed nothing in the app in the latest version relevant to this issue except increased the iOS deployment target version to 18.0.

I have checked all the suggestions mentioned in this form posts (signed agreements, financial setup, correct API keys, etc.), all looks fine and has not changed.

purchases_flutter version is 8.7.1

The code that produces this error is: offerings = await Purchases.getOfferings();

Please help me diagnose and solve this -- my users can no longer make purchases in the app.

T

Hi @Talicom,

I’d check if you have the In-App Purchases Configuration key set in the RevenueCat dashboard? It’s likely that after upgrading from a lower version you could be changing from StoreKit1 to StoreKit2.

I’d double check as well that your Apple Developer Program is active and valid.

Let me know if it works!

Hi. This works on some actual iOS devices while on others it generates this error. Do I assume correctly that if it is working fine (including completing purchases) on some devices that the problem is not with my app or configuration or Apple program setup? If so, where could the problem be on those devices? And is there anything I can do about it? Thank you.

Hi, i would like to report the same issue. I have changed nothing but upgrading xcode and target version to 18. It is on and off, sometimes offerings are being retrieved and sometimes not. Tested in ios simulator and iPhone 17.2.1. This is critical

I can confirm the status.

I have upgraded nothing, but now my app launched from Xcode or Testflight gives me this error, but the app, launched from the App Store, working okay.

It’s the same with me in Cyprus and my colleague in Georgia on real devices and simulators.

Using Xcode, no multiplatform, but anyway.

Confirm.

I get error 23 from time to time. The app has been released in the App Store, payments go through. But as it seems, many people get error 23.

Also the new version of the app also failed due to this error.

Hi,

Last week we detected an issue on Apple’s APIs which causes the configuration error and makes the getOfferings return an empty array. We heard reports from customers which it has been fixed for them but others still experience it.

We have reported it and we keep monitoring it, you can find the incident in our status page here.

Best,

Best,

The incident status page you linked to regards SANDBOX. I am reporting regular users on regular devices using the regular App Store. Nothing to do with SANDBOX.

Please create a separate incident to track this problem occurring in the wild and please update us here when you have more information and/or a resolution.

Thank you.

Hi @Talicom,

We haven’t seen it happen in production so far but we are investigating it. Do you still see it happening? How are you getting the reports?

Best,
