Revenuecat not setting claims to firebase (emulator)

I just finished setting up revenuecat with firebase as per documentation. I got a firebase function that is supposed to check if a user is premium via claims. I also setup the emulators accordingly, i think. I imported the extension as well and if needed i can give the firebase.json.No trace of claims show up in either of these results called in the function after the user successfully subscribed: ```ts    const tokenResult = await admin.auth().verifyIdToken(idToken);    if (idToken) {      functions.logger.info("tokenResult: ", tokenResult);      admin.auth().getUser(tokenResult.uid).then((user) => {        functions.logger.info("user: ", user);      });```All i get is the usual firebase auth data. It’s also not writing anything to the firestore emulator. Can anybody help me figure out what am i doing wrong?

How can I access all the public RevenueCat endpoints?

I want to try some things to analyze my apps data with RevenueCat API, but I haven't found enough endpoints from your Rest API documentation.For example, I haven't found an endpoint to fetch my RevenueCat projects etc. How can I see all the public endpoints for RevenueCat endpoints.

Web purchase work flow?

Can some one outline the workflow process for a subscription purchase on a website then redeeming it on an iOS app, for example unlocking a feature? I understand the purchase on iOS workfowiOS app initiate purchase > revenuecat > ios appstore to process payment > revenuecat > iOS app to unlock feature What is a web flow look like? , especially one with a stripe payment process? I know a user ID will have to be set on a website.

More detailed documentation on pub/sub

Hi,is there a more detailed information on pub/sub and revenue cat?I read this but its not working like this: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/google-server-notificationsI can't enable pub/sub via the link on the first point. Is google cloud billing needs to be active for this? I tried to create it manually, a push subscription but Im not sure about the settings and the revenue cat push url.

Web hooks & REST API

Hi,Im trying to keep my database in sync with each users current state.WebhooksFirst I tried to use web hooks data but I ran into multiple issues:The basic event from the documentation (above all other examples like initial purchase) has way more fields like a real promo code event. Im not sure what user ids to compare. original_app_user_id, app_user_id especially with use cases like “restore subscription”. The documentation calls for comparing original_app_user_id but isn't it wrong in cases of restore and to prevent to be both users entitled here? “expiration_at_ms” is not under entitlement_ids like in the REST API, is this not the entitlement expiration date? Thats because another event for the same app_user_id returns a not migrated state but just for example for the new purchase and I have to store all events right?I think there should be a way simpler web hook.RevenueCat detect a new event but instead of sending it, it checks the user state, do all the work and send the current s

Has anyone had any success integrating RevenueCat with a Squarespace API?

Has anyone had any success integrating RevenueCat with a Squarespace API? I know square space can have a stripe checkout, then stripe its self interfaces with revenuecat.However squarespace can have subscription products with stripe processing the payments only, not keeping track of the subscription status etc. I want to use this in my site that has a members section with the subscription also unlocking features on a iOS app. Squarespace does have its own REST API and webhooks that could be configured to do this, but I’ve not seen anyone try it.

TRANSFER event is sent to webhook upon completing step 4. Actual Series of Webhook EventsINITIAL_PURCHASE event is sent to webhook upon completing step 2.Use Case: Given that a user can make a subscription before creating an account, we rely on the RevenueCat webhook to give us a Transfer event when a user restores purchases after creating their account. This allows us to use our server to update the user in our database with the current product they are subscribed to.

Unable to test Webhooks

Hi there,I was testing webhooks for an endpoint, which I created on my server. But when I am testing the Webhooks at that time I am having a problem. When press the test button, I get this message - "It wasn't possible to connect, are you sure the URL is correct?"Webhook Endpoint - "https://goit.softuvo.click/users/revenue-cat/webhook-test/"I have done some R&D, it seems there maybe some problem in certificate.Following are the details of certificate I am using at server side:Common Name (CN) - R3Organisation (O) - Let's Encrypt

So I have everything connected and working and I just recieved a notice that my trial is ending with Google Cloud. I am assuming this is the cost associated with the service account that was linked to Revenue Cat? Trying to find more information about this to better explain to my client

Is it possible to activate a subscription for free? Or pay for it on the user's behalf? (Useful for bundles with physical objects)

Hello!I am evaluating whether to use RevenueCat or not into my next app, and it is my first time using a subscription model. I plan to sell a service subscription either:- As a standalone product (through the app)- Bundled with a physical product sold through ShopifyWhile the former is a common RevenueCat use case, I am not sure on how to achieve the latter. I understand that RevenueCat’s business model consists in withholding a percentage of the subscription cost encountered by the user on the app store, thus I don’t think I can simply create a new subscription for zero cost through the API (correct me if I am wrong).If that’s the case, what if I pay for a new subscription on a user’s behalf by using the revenues from the Shopify purchase? In my specific case, the user could use the app itself for activating the subscription after the purchase, but he should be able to activate it for free (as he already paid for it). Is it thus possible for my business to pay the subscription on his

Has Anyone been successful integrating RevenueCat and Squarespace?

Has Anyone been successful integrating RevenueCat and Squarespace? I know squarespace is setup to use webHooks, however RevenueCat does not have an endpoint setup to receive Squarepace notifications. Has anyone had success integrating these? I’m not a web dev so I’m trying to better understand the workflow/integrations.

Apple Search Ads + Revenuecat Integration

Hello, we are working on apple search ads attribution and revenuecat integration. I can't create new api key in apple search ads. When I am on the "Search Ads" > "API" page, there is NO 'Create Certificate' button or something else ( I'm the admin and used safari). Is there any other method?.And i got email from Apple:Please note that new API certificate creation is no longer supported. Using RC sub status for chat access

Hi folks,I’m interested in setting up a subscribers-only Circle or Discord community. Only users that have an active subscription (according to RevenueCat) will get access, and that access gets revoked if their subscription expires.Is anyone doing this? How? I don’t see any obvious integrations on RevenueCat’s side. Is this in RC’s roadmap? (By the way, RC’s “public” roadmap seems to be private, Trello says I need to request access??). Are tools like Circle or Discord set up to handle this if they’re sent RC’s web hooks or something?Cheers, Toby

Why is RevenueCat not sending any attributes to Intercom?

Hi team,We’ve spent the past few days setting up Intercom, only to connect with RevenueCat and find that no customer attributes (particularly email address) is being sent to Intercom.This issue is definitely on RevenuCat’s end, as the email attribute is listed on each revenuecat customer page, it is just not being included in the outgoing request.Can anyone shed some light on what is happening here?

Sending Stripe tokens to RevenueCat (Squarespace)

I'm trying to integrate revenuecat with the stripe checkout on my squarespace website - so that when a customer subscribes the subscription will be automatically applied. Following this document up untill point 5 "Send Stripe Token to RevenueCat" https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/stripe#:~:text=Connect with Stripe,in the RevenueCat Stripe App. Does anyone know where the cURL code is meant to be added on the Squarespace platform?

Can RevenueCat handle Stripe subscription upgrades/downgrades

I have a vanilla monthly/annual subscription plan on my app. In Stripe it’s 2 products, each with one price.I’m configuring the Stripe customer portal, where I will send customers to cancel their plans. Stripe allows me to let them “Switch plans”.Is this supported in RC or should I only let users cancel and start a new subscription?Thanks!

Google Analytics integration for web events

Hi, We are using RevenueCat to centralize all payment-related events for our app and our website. For web, we connected Stripe, and it’s working well. We can see the web events activity in RevenueCat Dashboard and Amplitude but we would like to track them in Google Analytics and we can’t find a proper way to do it. We have tested the Segment integration but Google Analytics is not attributing the events to users. It is just sending all the events from RevenueCat (app+web) without the right parameters (i.e: browser = segment.io instead of the right browser, no source attribution,...). Are we missing something or is it just not possible to send web RevenueCat events to Google Analytics? Thanks for your help

Hello! There is no method to set the protected attribute $firebaseAppInstanceId in react native, so the 3. of this tutorial  for the revenueCat ↔ firebase analytics integration can’t be completed. Setting it with Purchases.setAttributes({$firebaseAppInstanceId: THE_ID }) doesn’t work. How can I do it?

RevenueCat and Stripe one-time purchases

I am struggling to get RevenueCat to automatically sync/recognise one-time purchases from Stripe Checkout.I have a Flutter app for both iOS and web (Firebase backend), and after significant work (writing custom conditional code for the Web logic...) have subscriptions working for both iOS and Web, integrated with RevenueCat. Customers can subscribe either as an IAP on iOS or using Stripe if on the Web app, and the subscription entitlement is managed by RevenueCat.But… user’s also need the ability to make one-time purchase of consumable credits. On iOS this is handled as an IAP that RevenueCat syncs, pushing the successful transaction event to my Firestore Function so I can track the credit balance.For one-time purchases via the Web app, Stripe Checkout successfully completes yet ReveneCat appears unaware of the transaction! Unlike for Stripe-managed subscription transactions there does not seem to be any automatic syncing or notification to RC of the one-time purchase.So far I have tri

Help Sending Stripe Webhooks (REST API)

I’ve been reading docs for hours and hours. I’ve read this post: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/stripe To accept stripe payments I can use a Stripe Checkout (https://stripe.com/payments/checkout) It’s a stripe payment page hosted by stripe which prevents me from having to set up my own payment server. Here’s where I’m lost. After I receive a payment, I have to “Send Stripe tokens to RevenueCat”. How do I do that? I can’t figure out how to initiate a POST request from Stripe Checkout that sends the required info to Revenuecat.
