Was reading through the RevenueCat SDK documentation, and was wondering if there are any added benefit to using the RevenueCat attribution features rather than using the ones supplied by the Facebook SDK.

One thing that comes to mind is optimizing Facebook trial start events with trial complete events supplied by RevenueCat. Is this possible?

Hey @Omer Winrauke!

We recommend using our Facebook integration, as it enables events to be sent for conversions, renewals, etc. without requiring an app open.

You can read more about our Facebook integration here: https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/facebook-ads

Following up here @cody, are you sure these are working for SKAN though? We see events being sent but nothing showing up for the SKAN based ad sets

@cody I too would like to know if this is working for SKAN. Though I am not using the Facebook integration but Branch integration. I do not seem to be getting the conversions for SKAN either.

If a user opts out of IDFA tracking then I don’t see how the users can be tied together. Can you confirm whether or not this is possible with SKAN? If not, I think it would be nice to make that clear in the integration documentation.

Also, if this is the case it might even make sense to use the client-side purchase tracking in the Facebook SDK if we cannot rely on the integration passing the data if using SKAN.
