Hey,

I am trying to publish a new app to Apple App Store.

I get the following rejection message;

“in-app purchase functionality is not present in your binary

….

Alternatively, if you do not want to include in-app purchase products in your app, it would be appropriate to remove any unused in-app purchase products from App Store Connect.”

Any suggestions on what should I do to fix this?

Regards

Hey Shubham,

Are you still seeing this issue? My recommendation is to follow these steps:

  1. Are all of your agreements signed in App Store Connect?
  2. Is purchasing working in sandbox?
  3. Is purchasing working in TestFlight?
  4. Can you double check the binary you sent to Apple? Did you send the correct binary?

If your answer is “yes” to all of the above then likely App Review ran into a temporary sandbox issue when testing purchasing in your app. This is unfortunately common. If it works in sandbox and TestFlight for you, your next action should be talking to App Review to see what they experienced and share your successful tests.
