How is the lock-in like for RevnueCat?

Hey team! 

 

I’m evaluating RevenueCat for our startup. Question for you: 

Say we used RevenueCat, but wanted to transition off to a custom solution down the road. What would the process for that be like? For example, will we need to give up our existing subscriptions to our users, or is it possible to transition everyone over?

Hey @Stepan Parunashvili!

RevenueCat never technically owns the subscription, Apple and Google do, so you’d always be able to migrate off RevenueCat if you choose and your subscriptions won’t be impacted. We’ll even export all of the raw receipt files we’ve saved in a big file to help - though I can’t say this will make your life easier ;)
