Hi there,

Apologies if this has been asked already - I was trying to create an App Store Connect API Key to connect RevenueCat as per this App Store Connect API Key Configuration | In-App Subscriptions Made Easy – RevenueCat

However, Apple shows this message when generating the key saying it cannot be used with Third Parties. I am concerned that RevenueCat will be considered Third Party and break this term and condition. Am I being overly paranoid? 😄 Is this something a dev shouldn’t be worried about?

Thanks so much!

Hi, generally Apple has not disallowed our use case so it should be fine to go ahead and create your key. The key is only used to fetch products and prices from App Store Connect as a convenience and more accurate data regarding price changes, and are not required for RevenueCat to work, so you could also opt out of making one if you would like.
