Could not validate subscriptions API permissions error. I think I need to publish my application in closed beta in the play store to solve this problem. Can I publish it in internal beta or does it have to be closed beta?

To test purchases using the Sandbox environment for Google, you will need to upload a signed version of your app into a closed testing track.
