Is a user able to subscribe twice?

Forum|alt.badge.img+8

Hi,

We recently switched RevenueCat account, we also created new subscriptions on AppStore Connect with new ids. But we forgot to do the subscription migration explained here. So both the RevenueCat account and the subscriptions changed.

My question is : can a user already subscribed with our old RevenueCat account subscribe again with our new RevenueCat account?

We don’t want to do that to our users so we want to make sure that they can’t pay twice for the same subscription.

Thank you for your help

Hey @amsdamsgram! Customers are not able to subscribe twice to any product in the same subscription group. This logic is enforced by Apple, not RevenueCat.

Hey @ryan , thank you for your answer!

So if we created the new subscriptions in another group on AppStore Connect, users are able to subscribe twice, correct?

Correct, customers can subscribe simultaneously to products in different subscription groups.
