RevenueCat Google API usage more than doubled over last few days

Hello,

We noticed that the Google Play API usage by the service credential we have assigned to RevenueCat more than doubled for us over the last few days.

It used to be around 2 requests/second till September 4 but after that it has shot up to 4 requests/second peaking at 6 at times. The specific API is androidpublisher.SubscriptionPurchasesService.Get

We haven’t seen anything similar in our other metrics. Can anyone at RevenueCat take a look at this increase?

So looks like the fix worked.  Our usage yesterday dropped down to our normal levels.

Hi @nihal,

Thanks for reporting this issue. We introduced a regression on Saturday around 5:30 pm UTC that caused an increase in the number of outgoing requests to the Play Store API. We deployed a fix this morning around 12:30 pm UTC. Our Google Play API usage should be back to the previous levels, but let us know if that's not the case.
