Question

PaywallV2 Components Are Not Updating as Expected

Forum|alt.badge.img

While using RevenueCat’s PaywallView (PaywallV2), I’ve noticed that some UI customizations do not reflect on the live preview or actual device.

For example:

  • Changes to a text component (e.g., color, content) don’t persist or appear on screen.

  • Similar issues occur with other component edits — it’s as if certain elements are locked or cached

Any insights would be appreciated!

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. I'm happy to help.

The Engineering team identified the issue on Saturday and implemented a fix the same day. After double-checking on our end, everything is now working as expected.

Could you please confirm if this is still an issue on your side? If that's the case, I will make sure to report it back to the team.

Thank you,

Edit: Apologies, my app was set to use Dark Mode which I forgot to design inside RevenueCat’s Paywall UI.

------------------

I am still experiencing that problem.

I am changing the colour of the outline of the selected package, unfortunately it is not reflected in the app. Similarly for the “Best Value” label and the selected icon colour. I am using the first package style available in the list of options, it is placed inside a sticky footer.

Let me know if you need more details.

Thanks.

Hi @Yuzu Yam

Thank you for the clarification! I'm glad it works as expected after adding Dark Mode to the Paywall Editor.
