In our app, we have 3 different subscriptions (entitlements) that users can purchase. On Android and iOS side everything works fine as expected. But, in web, when user subscribes through stripe checkout session, when we post the subscription id to RC server successfully, the subscription does show up with appropriate (stripe) product.But, for some reason the entitlement the product belongs to is not attached with the customer’s subscription.  We do provide the accurate `app_user_id` and `fetch_token` (stripe subscription id) on the receipt.Our app uses the customer’s entitlement to unlock the level of feature. So, if there’s no entitlement attached to their purchase, the app can’t allow user to access the paid feature.

Here’s how I combined RevenueCat subscriptions with usage-based credits without overcomplicating things (perfect for AI tools, AI wrappers API calls, or limiting features): Subscriptions via RevenueCat: Users pick weekly/monthly/yearly plans. RevenueCat handles Apple/Google payments. Credit Tracking in Firestore: We store credits in Firebase. Example: "Monthly plan = 1000 credits." Auto-Sync with Webhooks: When someone subscribes/cancels, Custom Written Revenuecat Webhook Handler in nextjs deployed on vercel extension updates Firestore. Credits auto-add/reset. Deduct Credits via Backend: Every API call from ios app hits our backend → checks Firestore → subtracts credits. IOS App: Firebase Auth and Reveneucat login with firebase userID Backend 1: Communicatig with 3rd par

Firstore has a 1mb size limit. RevenueCat’s firestore extension creates a single customer record which holds all the purchases the user makes. There is a potential for a user to make so many purchases over time it would exceed the 1mb limit of firestore documents. How does Revenuecat handle this situation?

Hi,I’ve configured RevenueCat & AppsFlyer as it should be, but still can’t see any Media Source params in events that RC sends to AF. I do see the value set by the app in the ‘Customer Profile’ page on RC, but but in event JSON which is sent from RC to AF they are still missing and AF thinks that it was organic purchase.Any idea whats wrong or what I’m missing? (iOS SDK) 

Hello,I integrated the FB SDK according to your documents and after the release I did not see AppInstall events in the FB Console.I assume this is because I disabled automatic FB event tracking and all RC sends is subscription events.I can't use the AppActivate event because it can't be related to ad campaigns.Can you explain if I might have made a mistake somewhere when linking FB and RC.

Hello I have integrated revenuecat with appsflyer and some of my revenuecat events like: “trial cancel event”, “initial purchase event”, etc. not received in appsflyer.

Connection failed!We couldn't establish a link to the App Store. The App Store Connect API credentials are not valid or do not have sufficient permissions to list apps. Make sure the key has at least the App Manager role.I keep on getting this error and I 100% put everything in the right way. And I'm not sure why. 

I’ve connected the RevenueCat integration with Facebook Ads, but it looks like all the events are coming from App Events API and not Conversion API.I want to enable Meta’s attribution for iOS14+ for StartTrial events with AEM but it doesn’t look like I can be eligible with the events coming in from App Events API.

Hi guys!I’m about to launch the new version of my app with Revenue Cat. I did enable the Firebase integration as I want to store info about my users in it. My application also need to store a few additional info about my user (extra metadata like locale or application specific info).My application communicates with my API (that needs to know the entitlements of my users, so I’m also using the Rest API).The thing is… I have data about my users dispatched at 3 different places:In RevenueCat (where I have useful information like the last app version, device version, last seen, etc...).  In firebase (where i have entitlements and stuff from RevenueCat but not all the data enumerated above) In my API local MySQL database (where I store the additional data that I need for my user like locale or application specific stuff)So If I want a complete vision of my users, I need to aggregate all this different sources.

We use Mixpanel as our Analytics tool, which has RevenueCat events fired for trial start and trial convert. However, our number of trial starts and trial converts, as well as the revenue in the latter event do not add up to match the numbers in the RevenueCat dashboard.e.g.:May: Trial starts in Mixpanel = 1,573May: Trial starts in RevCat = 1,235^ this is a 21% difference... June: Trial converts in Mixpanel = 574June: Trial converts in RevCat = 521^ this is a 9% difference… The event is from the same source, as we use the Mixpanel in-app purchases integration from RevenueCat https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/mixpanel I’ve used the data discrepancy article from RevenueCat, which doesn’t include the answer:

I was trying to integrate, My App store connect with my RC but getting this issue:“The key is not valid or is not compatible with the bundle id of your app.”Even though my Bundle ID is valid on both xcode and appstore connect i just copy pasted from that,  Just created my .p8 file and have created this 3 times now.

Hi,  We’re setting up the RevenueCat > AppsFlyer integration. This allows RevenueCat to send subscription-related events to AppsFlyer, so we can tell which advertising campaigns are performing the best. Most importantly, RC will send proceeds data to AF, so we can tell how much money is coming from each campaign.  Here’s my question: What happens if a user gets refunded on each of our platforms (Apple, Google, Stripe). Does RC pick up on the refund? Does RC send the refund to AF, so AF’s proceeds reporting is accurate?  Thanks,  Toby 

Hello!  We have an integration from RevenueCat to Braze to capture Subscription Events.  These events are flowing into Braze as Custom Events, however they should be considered Braze Purchase Events.  Does anyone have any guidance on how to make this happen? We are using the default event names in the the Braze integration setup as shown here in RevenueCat.According to both the RevenueCat and Braze Documentation, if the event has currency/revenue it should be recorded as a purchase event, specifically initial_purchase_event and renewal_event. https://docs.revenuecat.com/docs/braze

I want to optimize a facebook campaign for the "Subscibe" event (user purchased abo).The Revenuecat Facebook integration made that event available in the Facebook Conversion Api, but it doesn't seem to work for IOS users who did not accept the ATT prompt. Here @tina claimed that the events are still being sent to Facebook but without the IDFA, if so are the events still maybe unusable for the Campaign because Facebook doesnt know how to map the Subscribe Event to the according Campaign perhaps?

I am testing Stripe integration with RevenueCat and have everything configured and working per your documentation. However, I am running into an issue with Stripe checkout and initial billing failures. When using Stripe checkout, if the initial payment fails the Subscription is automatically placed in an ‘Incomplete’ state. In this scenario, Stripe still emits a customer.subscription.created event which, per your documentation, I handle and post the token to RevenueCat. This subscription immediately fails and Stripe sends an invoice.updated event which I have configured to be sent to RevenueCat. I am then listening to Webhooks emitted by RevenueCat on my own server to do some minimal state management locally.This series of actions causes 3 events - Initial Purchase, Billing Issue, and Cancellation - to be sent to me by RevenueCat. All 3 events have identical event_timestamp_ms and purchased_at_ms timestamps. In other words,

Hi, I recently conducted a test where I installed via an AppsFlyer Onelink and bought a subscription. In AF, the install is attributed correctly, but the subscription event never showed up (nor the associated revenue). The subscription event and revenue is sent via the RevenueCat integration with AF.
