Is anybody here successfully using the RCxFirebase integration and getting correct revenue data in Google Analytics?I have the following problem: Revenue shown in Google Analytics seems to be counted double. For Android, I can prevent Firebase from automatically collecting revenue data via “Firebase > Project settings > Integrations > Unlink Google Play”. Then Android is fine. For iOS, however, this is not possible. Even without the RC integration, revenue is already show in Analytics and with the integration it is twice as high…FYI I am using this Firebase plugin for my Capacitor app:https://github.com/capawesome-team/capacitor-firebase/tree/main/packages/analytics...and I am using the following code (where `userId` is the user’s UUID within my app):Capacitor.Plugins.FirebaseAnalytics.getAppInstanceId().then(result => { Purchases.setAttributes({$firebaseAppInstanceId: result.appInstanceId});});Capacitor.Plugins.FirebaseAnalytics.setUserId({userId: userId});Purchases.logIn
Hello RevenueCat Community,We've been using RevenueCat for our iOS, Android, and web apps, and we primarily use Firebase as our backend for all 3 apps. We've set up the RevenueCat’s Firebase integration (not the Firebase extension) by following the documentation provided here. The document seems to indicate that events for all 3 sources (App Store/Play Store/Stripe) can be sent to Google Analytics. We see the revenue data for our iOS and Android apps in the Firebase dashboard. However, we've noticed that the revenue for our web app, which is processed through Stripe, is missing. We do see the web app revenue on the RevenueCat dashboard, but it's not showing up in Firebase. We've double-checked the setup and believe that we've followed the integration steps correctly, but we're still not able to see the web app revenue in Firebase. Is there an additional step or configuration required for Stripe payments that's not covered in the documentation?Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly
I have been unable to install or uninstall the Revenuecat Purchases Firestore Extension. After trying to then uninstall, I have received the following error. Note that we have Google Cloud Associated with this project and so IAM permissions etc. There is nothing about this in the documentation and how Google Cloud IAM permissions might affect the Extension installation or uninstallation. My account has full Owner permissions, as well as Service Usage Admin, Firebase Admin, and Eventarc admin. This is the error:> Error: ; RESOURCE_ERROR at /deployments/firebase-ext-firestore-revenuecat-purchases/resources/mods-api-enable-eventarcpublishing: {"ResourceType":"deploymentmanager.v2.virtual.enableService","ResourceErrorCode":"403","ResourceErrorMessage":{"code":403,"message":"Permission denied to enable service [eventarcpublishing.googleapis.com]\nHelp Token: help-token-here","status":"PERMISSION_DENIED","details":[{"@type":"type.googleapis.com/google.rpc.PreconditionFailure","violations"
I would like to integrate Firebase Extension into my project and according to the instructions guide I need to follow a few steps herehttps://www.revenuecat.com/docs/firebase-integration#2-set-firebase-user-identity-in-revenuecatAll those steps are only showing code for Swift. Is there no integration available for Flutter? Is it not possible?
I viewed Apple's docs and saw the information about billing retry (60 days), but not in RevenueCat. I want to know how to detect a subscription is in billing retry (60 days)? Is Billing_issue when payment is failed before billing retry? Is Expiration when subscription is officially expired (after 60 days retry)?
Hello,When I purchase an android subscription (renewing 1mo) it seems that in the response webhook I am getting the product_id: product_identifier:base_plan_id. Before I was just getting the product_id which corresponded to whatever product_identifier I set on the google play store. How can I fix this so that the product_id coming from the webhooks does not append the base_plan_id? Thanks,Carl
Hi,I am adding a subscription for an app in the play store. Android and ios ids must be the same on our side. But when adding android subscription, we add it period and the product id is created automatically, but the android and ios ids are different, how can we solve this problem?Subscription is on auto-renewal. We have added a subscription before, but we did not encounter such a problem. Has RevenueCat been updated? Can you help me ?example-------ios: com.app.subscriptionandroid:com.app.subscripton:p1mThanks in advance :)
Hi,We’re seeing events from the Revenue Cat webhook whilst in Sandbox mode (before go-live) where a subscription or renewal flows through with 12.17% `tax_percentage`. Can anyone explain why that might be? I would expect 20% VAT? Is it something we’ve misconfigured or am I missing something?Example webhook event here:{ "api_version": "1.0", "event": { "aliases": [ "9e2090e4-11cc-4ff8-8f0f-281eb9e6b84d", "$RCAnonymousID:7610af8f52924950b428cd4d313823f2" ], "app_id": "app790cf74d0c", "app_user_id": "9e2090e4-11cc-4ff8-8f0f-281eb9e6b84d", "commission_percentage": 0.3, "country_code": "GB", "currency": "GBP", "entitlement_id": null, "entitlement_ids": [ "Pro" ], "environment": "SANDBOX", "event_timestamp_ms": 1678382003118, "expiration_at_ms": 1678382162000, "id": "6D453662-6B23-47EE-97B4-7856431CA391", "is_family_share": false, "is_trial_conversion": false, "offer_code": null, "original_app_user_id": "$RCAnonymousID:76
We would like to test changing the duration of the free trial on our active subscription. However, when trying to do so I get this error message:“This subscription has been migrated from a legacy subscription and is read-only”. Does any of you have a similar issue? I appreciate your help.
I installed Firebase integration inside Revenuecat and also added the neccessary extension to my Firebase project. When I buy a product in my application the event is visible inside Revenuecat but the detailed view not showing up the integrations (it says, no integrations to show) Anyone else experiencing the same issue?PS: I already did the same setup with my dev environment (different project) and there it worked, but now I checked and we did not change anything in that project and the firebase events are not working there neither.
Added Facebook ads integration: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/facebook-ads When I test events in sandbox only the ones with IDFA enabled are sent, even though $fbAnonId is set. This is reproducible every time IDFA is toggled on/off. Is this a bug? Cause from doing a research on this forum I found that IDFA should fallback to fbAnonId and send events regardless. I also have my Facebook ads up and running, and not receiving events from RevenueCat.
When integrating Singular using official docs we have faced a few issues: API KeyFrom the official docs it is not clear which API key we suppose to use. Singular has many types of API keys: SDK, Reporting API key, S2S API key, etc.We were under impression that we should use Reporting API key located here: https://app.singular.net/#/react/api. On our integration page on Revenue Cat all events were green and in event logs it was indicated that Singular successfully accepts the events. The problem was that we couldn’t find any rc_events on Singular Events page. We had raised a problem with Singular support and they confirmed that Reporting API key should be used as API key. After a few days they again replied to us saying that this is wrong and SDK API key should be used instead.Would be nice to have more clear explanation on docs page regarding this issue. IDFA for iOSWe don’t ask our users to provide access to IDFA, so we only collect IDFV. In your official integration with Singular if c
Hi there,I was testing webhooks for an endpoint, which I created on my server. But when I am testing the Webhooks. I get this message - "It wasn't possible to connect, are you sure the URL is correct?"also my function return timeout Please, advice what should I do to diagnose this error. Thanks
Hello RevenueCat community,I am a new user of RevenueCat and am having issues with processing subscription purchases. Here is the relevant information.- App designed no-code in FlutterFlow- App connected and products connected in RevenueCat- App uses Firebase for Users and Authentication information- Google Analytics functions properly and shows user events- Licensing is set up for purchases in Google Developer Console with the test account I am using- RevenueCat extension is set up in Firebase- Firebase integration is set up in RevenueCat- RevenueCat service account is active. I have for now given Admin permissions for everything, so there should be no restrictions because I was encountering some access errors earlier that seem to have been fixed. - The service account JSON was generated and uploaded in RevenueCat and RevenueCat shows connected to Google. - Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google analytics are enabled and seem to be functioning with FlutterFlow- Sandbox Data is checked on th
Hello,Despite deleting everything and trying it twice from scratch following this doc, we keep getting this error:Your Google service account credentials do not have permission to create a Google Cloud Pub/Sub topic. We have done everything by the books, I have no idea, why this doesn’t work. Any ideas, please? Thanks,
I want to integrate with Adjust, and I want to do so the easy way (I would prefer not to be made to jump through whatever obstacle course that the RevenueCat integration entails):Is there an easy way for me to fetch the receipt from the client (right after a subscription has been made and approved), as well as also doing the same kind of thing on Android? If there isn’t, I would have to assume that this is purposefully avoided so as to make migration harder, and that in the process of making migration harder you are also making other things harder.
Hi,We are implementing webhooks and would like to know if there is a specific order the id’s come back in the `transferred_from` and `transferred_to` arrays. During our testing, they seem to be a little inconsistent *Update*I should probably clarify that I am referring to the transfer webhook jic someone is reading this, down the line and it isn’t clear.
Hello I have integrated revenuecat with appsflyer and some of my revenuecat events like: “trial cancel event”, “initial purchase event”, etc. not received in appsflyer.
Hi, I use both Branch and RevenueCat in my app. I’m setting up Branch to talk with the SkAdnetwork. In the Branch Docs it says the following: In the SKAdNetwork Config section of the Branch dashboard, select the YES radio button to have the Branch SDK handle all calls to SKAdNetwork.Do NOT opt-in if you decide to:Integrate directly with SKAdNetwork and call the SKAdNetwork functions natively. Use another 3rd party library to handle your app's interactions with SKAdNetwork. Before I opt in, I wanted to make sure this wouldn’t interfere with any RevenueCat Features.
I just finished setting up revenuecat with firebase as per documentation. I got a firebase function that is supposed to check if a user is premium via claims. I also setup the emulators accordingly, i think. I imported the extension as well and if needed i can give the firebase.json.No trace of claims show up in either of these results called in the function after the user successfully subscribed: ```ts const tokenResult = await admin.auth().verifyIdToken(idToken); if (idToken) { functions.logger.info("tokenResult: ", tokenResult); admin.auth().getUser(tokenResult.uid).then((user) => { functions.logger.info("user: ", user); });```All i get is the usual firebase auth data. It’s also not writing anything to the firestore emulator. Can anybody help me figure out what am i doing wrong?
I want to try some things to analyze my apps data with RevenueCat API, but I haven't found enough endpoints from your Rest API documentation. For example, I haven't found an endpoint to fetch my RevenueCat projects etc. How can I see all the public endpoints for RevenueCat endpoints.
Can some one outline the workflow process for a subscription purchase on a website then redeeming it on an iOS app, for example unlocking a feature? I understand the purchase on iOS workfowiOS app initiate purchase > revenuecat > ios appstore to process payment > revenuecat > iOS app to unlock feature What is a web flow look like? , especially one with a stripe payment process? I know a user ID will have to be set on a website.
Hi,is there a more detailed information on pub/sub and revenue cat?I read this but its not working like this: https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/google-server-notificationsI can't enable pub/sub via the link on the first point. Is google cloud billing needs to be active for this? I tried to create it manually, a push subscription but Im not sure about the settings and the revenue cat push url.
Hi,Im trying to keep my database in sync with each users current state.WebhooksFirst I tried to use web hooks data but I ran into multiple issues:The basic event from the documentation (above all other examples like initial purchase) has way more fields like a real promo code event. Im not sure what user ids to compare. original_app_user_id, app_user_id especially with use cases like “restore subscription”. The documentation calls for comparing original_app_user_id but isn't it wrong in cases of restore and to prevent to be both users entitled here? “expiration_at_ms” is not under entitlement_ids like in the REST API, is this not the entitlement expiration date? Thats because another event for the same app_user_id returns a not migrated state but just for example for the new purchase and I have to store all events right?I think there should be a way simpler web hook.RevenueCat detect a new event but instead of sending it, it checks the user state, do all the work and send the current s
Has anyone had any success integrating RevenueCat with a Squarespace API? I know square space can have a stripe checkout, then stripe its self interfaces with revenuecat. However squarespace can have subscription products with stripe processing the payments only, not keeping track of the subscription status etc. I want to use this in my site that has a members section with the subscription also unlocking features on a iOS app. Squarespace does have its own REST API and webhooks that could be configured to do this, but I’ve not seen anyone try it.
