Hi everyone,For testing purposes in sandbox mode, I would like to be able to generate a brand new user id, that would not be tied to any purchase, while staying on the same Apple device.The scenario would be this: A tester is logged in with an anonymous user ID, or an alias of one.  The tester makes a bunch of purchases / restore etc. operations. The tester needs to test something else as a brand new user. The tester generates a brand new user ID (provided ID), that is not an alias.  The tester is able to perform new purchase related tests as a brand new user.I’m currently trying to make step 4 happen. I noticed that it takes a few seconds to load the purchase screen in iOS after calling `Purchases.purchasePackage` in the React Native package.It also takes several seconds after the user completes the purchase before the receipt is acknowledged and this method returns a result.Is there any mechanism to know which part of the process you’re in?  I’d like to be able to inform the user at first, “Loading . . .” but then change it to “Confirming purchase . . ..”Thanks!!! 

Hi, I have integrated SDK in my android app and its working great.but sometime I am gettingError fetching offerings - PurchasesError(code=NetworkError, underlyingErrorMessage=Unable to resolve host "api.revenuecat.com": No address associated with hostname, message='Error performing request.')this error. any resolution for this? thanks

Hi,I have integrated revenuecat in my android app, I have the 3 days trial period setup for my app that i want to activate when user starts using the app. And want to show how many days are left for trial expiry time, after trial only i want to ask for the subscription. Is there any options to activate the trial and show the trial expiry status? Thanks in advanced.

Through the Google Play API you can revoke, refund, and cancel a subscription. Through the RevenueCat API you can revoke and refund, not cancel. Is there going to be added support for canceling a subscription?

I would like to know how I can set consumable purchase to inactive state after the user has used the product. For example, in my app, I have a consumable purchase that the user can use one time and then after that, I want to set that purchased product's entitlement state to inactive so that the user would have to buy it the next time before they can use the product.Any help with this will be very useful and much appreciated.

Hello, I am working on updating all my Frameworks including Purchases, specifically trying to get rid of all my PODs and moving them as Swift Packages Dependency. Also, for this I decided to start doing it on the latest version of Xcode in beta and the upcoming iOS 15. I recently noticed that while testing, two things are happening that were not happening before.  Products are being displayed on the simulator.  The Sign in With Apple ID window is appearing.While testing on the simulator for iOS 14, I was never able to download the products from Revenue Cat, therefore I was only able to test on an my device. But I noticed that it now brings the products and is able to display them on the simulator. However I have not tried to do a purchase from there as I assumed is not going to work as expected. ( This, is actually a good thing because it allows me to test on simulator how my paywall is going to look and react to changes )

Our App has quite a lot of inApp purchases for e-book like content.The current system works and it would be easiest to just keep it as it is (for the iOS side). Our server knows about the available items and the item content. Adding all products to revenueCat would not really add value and might introduce errors. Is it possible to use revenueCat just be handing over the product ID? Or is it better to leave the purchase code as is and use the revenue Cat SDK for handling the subscriptions?

Hi,We’re going to add introuctory offers to some products in our iOS app. And we want to make sure we display the right choise for each user depending on their receipts. So it looks like we could achieve this by using  checkTrialOrIntroductoryPriceEligibility. However, because it could result into refreshing user’s receipt, the AppStore sign-in dialog may appear. As I see from the current logic in the SDK it happens only when the receipt is missing in the app bundle. Which shouldn’t be the case for AppStore build. Though it’s a usual case for development and sandbox builds. Particularly the dialog appears if I try to call this method when there’s no sandbox user logged into device AppStore.Thus we have a concern about prompting AppStore sign-in dialog unexpectedly in the process of Apple review causing a rejection. We added RevenueCat to an existing application that already had in app purchases.We would like to hide some from RevenueCat as to avoid the MTR fee. Is there a way to do this?We are using RevenueCat for new In App subscriptions but would like to separate these from previously implemented purchases.

HiWe’re trying to configure a flow where user subscription is strictly bound to their account. In our mobile app we identify users by their personal accouns and provide a way to sign in / sign up and sign out directly in the app. So it’s possible to have a state when there’s no user id.We used Block restores setting (btw, thanks for this update - it’s much simpler now!) and applied the recommended way of identifying users with login/logout mehtods as described here. However with this approach when we register a new user the RevenueCat creates a subscriber with anonymous Original App User ID and then aliases the actual user id and setups App User ID field with it.While this is totally expected according to the

Currently using com.revenuecat.purchases:purchases:4.2.1When a user goes to upgrade a product in the same offering, I’m using UpgradeInfo to do that. new UpgradeInfo(currentProduct,1) //1 = IMMEDIATE_WITH_TIME_PRORATIONBut the user is showing that the upgrade will start at a later date . Am I doing something wrong?  

How does the SDK work when there is no cell or wifi?  Which methods will work on device-only, and which ones need connectivity to complete?  Will there be a noticeable delay to the call?   (Is there a doc describing this?)The case is where you want to test for a valid iOS subscription/entitlement, but there is no network available.  Does it work? 

I can't get a consumable product in the list of products, although information about subscriptions comes without problems - in Google playThe product is active, but it is not in the resulting list :(

HiI want to implement a Free 3 day Trial period before purchasing.I would like to use “FirstSeen” from purchaserInfo. Documentation means that:“ In the event that the user deletes and reinstalls the app, a new random App User ID will be generated.”But when testing and uninstalling/reinstalling… i always got the same AppUserID and the FirstSeen doesnt change - that would be fine… but the docu says other things. How is it actually? ThanksWalter

I noticed that when a user bought an IAP (no-consumable) on a macOS device, and then switched to a different Apple account, the new account still had access to pro features. I tried restarting the app and clicking the restore purchases button (which called `Purchases.shared.restoreTransactions`) but they didn’t help. I think the cause is Apple doesn’t refresh receipts for apps when a new account is signed in. I’m wondering if that is expected and what is the best practices to deal with that (ex should we just ignore those cases or there is a method to refresh receipt explicitly (and if that’s the case, should we invoke that method on every launch?)).

Hello,I tried to search for a similar case - couldn’t find anything.My macOS app got rejected for the following reason, as if Revenue cat doesn’t check for the existence of a purchase receipt.We noticed that your app does not check for the existence of a purchase receipt, which can prevent in-app purchases from being correctly processed. Next StepsWe recommend implementing receipt validation to resolve this issue. At a minimum, the app will need to check for the existence of an App Store receipt and exit at launch with a status of 173 if it does not exist.
